Was able to get a quick appointment during hot period of summer. AC needed a new capacitor. Serviceman figured out the problem and had it taken care of quickly. Worked with tenant who let him in. Was able to do this as a long-distance landlord, very pleased with service: prompt, professional, and no upsell or unreasonable charge.

The serviceman was clean, courteous and professional. He lives in Napa. He even wore surgical booties over his shoes. I highly recommend this company.

The services was ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING! Not only did Scott fix the problem (within minutes), he also installed a new thermostat that I purchased. He didn't have to do this, but he certainly didn't have any issue helping me. I'm not a technical or mechanical person by any means. He showed me how to use the new thermostat (it's called the NEST, which is great because it connects to my iPhone).
BTW, I called on a Monday, July 1 to request servicing and Peterson Mechanical sent someone to my house the next day! Since owning the home, we haven't had any air conditioning and the Sonoma area was experiencing 100 degree temperatures. It was miserable. It was a relief to have a reliable, knowledgeable, and friendly company to come to our home and fix the air conditioning problem.
We are HUGE fans of Peterson Mechanical. BRAVO.

We bought a 30 year old home that had been foreclosed and then flipped. But the old furnace would not work. Peterson Mechanical came out before escrow closed and gave us a bid. Then they were able to install it on the day we moved in so that we had heat in time for our first night in the house. They also checked all the duct work and fixed it as needed. They were very professional, worked around the movers and kept us advised on how they were doing.

They were excellent. They cleaned up the mess really good and did a good job of adjusting the system.

It was a pretty easy fix. He was looking for work to do, so he changed my air filters for nothing. If you make an appointment, they come on time. They are honest. They could have replaced my entire heat pump, but it was an easy fix. They pretty much just charged me for the service call.
