We received a quote in 2010 to remove the tree of $700. We're paying $285 per year to Bartlett to save our tree. We will continue to pay this as long as prices don't change, unless the boring beetle threat stops.

The service was fine. They did a good job with what they said they were going to do. They were on time, polite, and professional. The service was as expected.

I did not have a good experience with them. I had a situation at a rental property with a root growing in to a foundation. I had them come out to look at it for the purpose of writing a report to give to the home owners association. The guy came out and he verbally said that was the situation. He did not respond and I could not get them to write a written response. I presented to the home owners association something I had from a home inspection prior to this and that was enough for them. Bartlett's billed me for the work even though they never got me a written response. They billed me and I did not pay it, they threatened to send it to collections as well. I went over them to corporate and they were able to get rid of the bill. The corporate office was able to take care of it quickly. I certainly would not go there for an experts report on trees. The guy that came out was knowledgeable but it was not professional with not sending the written assessment. I would use them for tree service but not for an expert report.

In 2007 they came out and lifted the canopies and they thinned out the many limbs on the trees. They placed the cable on that visit. They came out most recently and they had been at my home during the day. When I got home they said some of the cable needed to be replaced and I asked them if they fixed that and they said they did not have the proper equipment. I spoke with a different arborist and he said they could have used their ropes to separate the trees and the night of that service one of the trees came down because of wind and the other tree was damaged and had to be taken down. This was all taken care of through insurance. The guy that did the work really dropped the ball on the service and it could have all been prevented. The tree damaged  two sheds and a fence. One of the sheds was my neighbors shed. The trees were 80 to 90 feet high. We had to have a couple of neighbors fence's repaired. They knew that night that the weather was going to be bad and they could have done something to have taken care of it so that did not happen. My insurance paid $12,000.00 plus dollars plus the fees to remove the trees and for the crane operator. The trimming was fine but the results of not finishing the job were not good.

The team showed up in the morning and worked for hours to remove the tree and prune and reshape the oleanders and xylosma. There are sixteen huge shrubs, close to fifteen feet high, and the eucalyptus was huge,encroaching on our neighbor's property.. There were ladders and lots of small and large equipment. When they left,, the property was immaculate.

We have used Bartlett's Tree Service for years. They do annual maintenance on our birch trees and oleander shrubs and have performed other services as we have needed. I highly recommend Bud Reeves and his team.

The team of three workers came to do the work, on time, with all needed equipment. They asked for our concerns and directions throughout the process, earnestly trying to make us happy. When they finished, the tree was down, the bushes trimmed, and all refuse hauled away. We had intended to keep the wood and use it for campfires, but negotiated during the day with Bud Reeves to haul the wood away as well. They left the property cleaner than when they came.

They were way overpriced. They may be very good but they are very pricey. I could find someone who can do the work for 50 percent of what they had quoted. They were responsive.

They are good. They are very structured and professional. They aren’t cheap but they do a good job. I would recommend them.

It went well. Trees trimmed very professionally, providing good balance. Scott showed up on time for bid, very professional and knowledgeable. Day of service, crew showed up on time, all very professional.

He was responsive, his name was Scott. He was professional but things changed and we aren't going to be able to do what we wanted to do. It was nothing on their part, just our change of plans. He came out when he said he would, he talked to us and sounded like he was knowledgeable.

They are good and prompt. Since we have been using them the trees have really come alive. They are very polite and easy to work with. They are very congenial. I can rely on them.
