All work was conducted in a thorough, professional and courteous manner. During the initial estimate meeting, a great deal of time was spent by Mr. Vass to insure that he understood our requirements, which basically was to leave this very old tree intact as much as possible taking only the limbs that were determined to be hazardous or harmful. Mr. Vass made several suggestions that would achieve these requirements and he repeatedly confirmed our agreement with his work plan. He and his crew showed up on time and again reviewed the job with us and then promptly went to work. Throughout the project we found them to be courteous, receptive and responsive to our questions and concerns. He did not use a "bucket truck" and all work was done from the tree itself which probably helps prevent over-cutting. The final result was outstanding with little sacrifice of shade or aesthetics. Clean up was excellent. Unusable branches were "chipped" and taken away per our request and the usable wood was cut to stove length and stacked. Even some branches from another project that we had done previously was cleaned up. Additionally, they cleaned off the entire deck even though their debris had only fallen on a part of it. Three months later, the tree is filling in nicely without any problems. Tip Top is a first rate tree service that specializes in oaks but does other tree work as well. Their work is professional, efficient and reasonably priced with a genuine concern for the customer's requirements. We will definitely use them again.
