Overall the remodel went well. The work was performed to the drawings and specifications and the contractor was quite responsive to our needs. At one time we had the roof unfinished and it was going to rain that weekend. They came over and put down plastic sheeting and made sure the rain did not enter the house. In addition we were living in the house during the remodel so keeping some semblance of clean living space upstairs was a requirement. They did a good job at trying to keep the dust down and keeping the outside areas clean and tidy. The only issues became the schedule, which was about 3 months later than originally anticipated, and change orders in which the work was accomplished without letting us know it was a change order. We had some issues in the middle of the job with this but were able to get this turned around by the end of the job. Also we had a robbery by the drywall sub-contractor and Elysian was very quick to take care of the cost of the items that were stolen. One other item I would add is that we have had a couple of issues since the work was done and they have been very responsive on these items, both of which did not involve any poor work on their part, but required them to respond. In fact we had a plumbing problem that we thought might be related to work they had done and they were here within the day to help figure out the problem, which turned out to be a bad fitting, not associated with their work. So for follow-up and responsiveness I would rate them A+.

Everything went very well.
