Coles Fine Flooring — Solana Beach

My daughter, Jennifer, who owns "Perfect Girl Friday"...a staging/decorating business...strongly recommended Joanna at Coles in Solana Beach. Jennifer had experiences with several other flooring companies but highly recommended Joanna at Coles. She was right on as Joanna was able to find us exactly what we were looking for.

Cate Ballinger was our designer. She was extremely helpful with selecting a specific carpet for me. Mario the installer is amazing. Very detail oriented

Gabriel in the show room was very patient and gave helpful advice on the best products for our home. Measurements for the estimate were done at the time promised. I had to call the store to get the actual estimate. Installation took place about a week later than first estimated. Don't expect these folks to actually finish the job though, especially if you expect them to finish in a timely fashion. Furniture was moved out but many small and medium pieces including cabinets, containers, dresser drawers and boxes were not put back in the rooms. Toilet was removed for the tile, but not replaced. When I called, I was told that I needed to get a plumber to reinstall it. Fair enough, but no one mentioned that I had to do so until I called to complain. Still waiting to get the last few items completed including installation of a transition piece. Unless you are willing to live with doors off their hinges, you will likely reinstall themselves rather than wait for them to do so. Also when I mentioned that there was a small gap between the carpet and the original flooring, they suggested I go to Home Depot to get a strip to fix the problem. I think most companies would have offered the correct the problem, with or without an additional charge. Also there are several dings in the freshly painted ceiling and walls as well as scoofs in the new floor boards which now need to be fixed. My garage and cars are now covered in dust, and miscelleous nails, wood pieces, old baseboards, padding, coffee cups and trash were left laying around. I've had flooring installed 3 times previously and all three times the job was finished completedly without my having to help with the completion. On the plus side all the flooring looks great, and Looks professionally installed.
