A+ College Counselors is a two person team dedicated to helping your middle or high school student navigate their path in life. Our advice considers all post-secondary options: 2 or 4 year schools, Trade/Vo-ed, Gap year, MOOC & Online, international. We develop packages customized for your student. We also offer services on an hourly basis.

Ms. Henderson’s advice and expertise proved to be invaluable. We had originally planned to submit ACT scores for only one date, but she explained why, in our particular case, it made sense to submit two. She also explained why it would not make
sense to submit certain AP and SATII scores.
Ms. Henderson also brought to my attention online resources I wasn’t previously aware of. My only regret is that we weren’t able to work together far earlier – freshman or sophomore year. Had this been possible, we would have been able to develop a more professional overall comprehensive game plan, in terms of pre-application curriculum, ATC/SAT/SATII/AP test taking schedules, and college selection.
In addition to being very professional, Ms. Henderson also has a pleasant, easy-going personality, which enables her to get along very well with both adults and teenagers. Don't wait until Senior Year like I did. It's important to start early. If I could give this company an A Plus, I would.

"I appreciate how stressful last minute decisions can be. In such cases, 21st century technology is our friend! With document sharing (eg. Google docs), a lot can be accomplished in a short amount of time. We routinely edit personal statements and essays this way. Saves time and gas, as well!"

The provider spoke to my son directly and asked him all the questions. I was there but only as an observer. She made it a very welcoming environment and explained that the information discussed would be very confidential. This welcoming environment made my son feel comfortable and he was able to discuss his qualifications truthfully. The provider shed some light on the competitive process of getting into college these days and that you have to work hard to be able to compete. This was a bonus to hear from an outside party other than from his parents. The provider then gave my son an outline of what needs to be done to achieve his goals. It was a very worthwhile experience that opened up my sons eyes to the whole college application process. The provider was very knowledgable and professional and was a great communicator. I would highly recommend her.

The meeting went very well. I was very impressed not only with their professionalism, but with the vast amount of knowledge these women possessed. Having been through the college application process with their own children, they really had a handle on what's coming down the line.
They told my son that they would help him get ready for the SAT and ACT tests, they would help him find an internship over the summer in the field of his interest, they would be working with him directly and only include me if need be. In other words, they are taking all the stress and worry off my shoulders and my son's, and making sure that every and quot;Iand quot; will be dotted and and quot;Tand quot; will be crossed.
Trying to get our son into a great college is our highest priority, I would hate to miss some small date or deadline or not do some required thing. By hiring these consultants, I know we're in the best hands. They will do all the small stuff and make sure he has the best chance at success. I feel so relieved!
