First, Sewer Spy showed excellent judgment by having Ralph Barrera as the contact person or face for the company. He was both the contact person and lead plumber for Sewer Spy on the project at our home. In his words and actions, he projected integrity and reliability. Mr. Barrera was an outgoing, straightforward, yet gracious gentleman who was at all times, professional, courteous, patient, punctual and reliable. He showed up on time or early each day, with a positive attitude, and always found a way to mention with fondness his wife, a child, or his grandchildren. He returned calls or texts promptly. For those who need someone who is bilingual, he spoke at least two languages, English and Spanish, but may speak more. He patiently answered the no-nothing about-plumbing questions asked by the homeowners and explained each step of the process in clear language as many times as necessary without making the homeowners feel like nincompoops. Mr. Barrera explained what would happen each day, and then he and the Sewer Spy crew proceeded to do what he said Sewer Spy would do. How often does that happen with any contractor? The crew, by the way, was professional, courteous, upbeat, and reliable. I did not have the chance to meet him , but I was told the owner actively checked out the project on the second of three days. Mr. Barrera advised us to call back to have the piping checked/flushed every 2-3 years. The plan is for it to last another 50 years. I would recommend Sewer Spy without reservation as a plumbing contractor to anyone. So far they have earned an A+ in our book.
