SIMS WELDING INC

I called the number. A man answered. I described the job I needed done, and asked him if it was something he could do. He said I should bring the parts over and he could tell me. So I hopped in the car, plugged the address into my GPS, and away I drove. And drove. And drove. Into deepest darkest Simi Valley, down a narrow, dusty canyon road, for about four miles, past scrap metal places, and stables, etc, until I reached a dead end. And there I saw the welding business. No sign, though. Just the address on the mailbox, and some old rusted cars littering the dusty yard. I took one look at my daughter, and turned around and drove straight back to Sherman Oaks. Next time, I pay more attention to the address! Call me crazy, but I prefer a business, even a welding business, to be a bit more business-like. And not quite so scary looking. Like out of a creepy movie. You know the ones I'm talking about.
