Simi 4 Woodworks Inc.

We recently had some custom cabinetry done by Simi 4 Woodworks. They did an outstanding job on our large media wall and a separate small wine/beverage nook. I interviewed three companies, two local to Simi and one from Chatsworth. Jimmy came back with the best overall pricing but most importantly, actually listened to what we wanted.
My husband was concerned about being able to hook up all his electronic stuff, proper air flow, etc. and Jimmy knew exactly how to design the wall to meet those needs. We weren't sure what exactly we wanted for our wine cabinet, but after seeing some pictures of other projects they'd done, Jimmy came up with a design that we are very happy with. The two other companies I interviewed balked at the idea of putting a full cabinet in the small nook because it had a slightly smaller doorway to deal with. One even said we'd have to rip out the doorway and widen it--how ridiculous!!! Jimmy said it was no problem and explained how it could be done. After the initial installation, I decided I wanted a decorative trim piece added below the beverage cabinet. No problem whatsoever--they sent someone out the next day before the staining was started to add it.
As the daughter of a woodworker/cabinet maker, I assumed I'd be disappointed somehow regardless of who I chose, but I ended up being thrilled with the work Simi 4 Woodworks did! The construction was done right and the finishers did a wonderful job of matching our existing cabinetry. I highly recommend them if you are in the market for custom cabinetry. We are planning on having them come back in the future to do custom built-ins in some closets.
