These guys are solid. Chris is a great technician and actually cares. He is very thorough and professional. He showed me some helpful things around the house to help keep mice away. He could have tried to charge me a bunch of money for extra stuff, but he didn't. I called the company to tell them I appreciated Chris's workmanship, and the owner picked up the phone. That doesn't happen at too many places.

You know its not going to be a good day when you wake up the second morning in a row with an insect bite you didn't have when you went to bed and you discover not only the typical bed bug droppings on your sheet but the fricking bug itself and it looks exactly like the picture on Google images of a bed bug. No problem - I'll just call Western Exterminators who took over for our previous pest control firm since we've been paying them to spray every month for the last 20 years. They'll come out, right? Wrong. They did call back and left a message but then wouldn't call me back a second time. So to Yelp I go. The first place I call quoted $895 to do 4 bedrooms - we have to do them to be sure they said. They could come tomorrow. Sleep in the same bed another night and get bit again? I don't think so. Then I called Sentry and had a call back from Rudy in 5 minutes. He came by an hour later. He decided it was just one bug - no spray - just wash or dry all the bed clothes and all the suitcases and clothes from our trip. He explained it all to my wife and answered all her questions and was very knowledgeable. This was in 2013 - I don't remember the charge but it was in the $100 range. Since then, Sentry has done multiple jobs for us at our home and at a 60 year old rental I own, including replacing a patio cover infested with dry rot. Every job has been superb, promptly attended to and clearly communicated. In any instance where there have been other estimates, their costs have been much less. Most recently, there were bugs at my rental property. The property management company had been using Terminex - someone came out, but didn't know what the bug was so had to consult their entomologist and get back to us. $299 to spray or $149 if we sign up for every 3 months. I told my property manager that I use Sentry - they came out, knew immediately what the bug was without consulting anyone, priced it at $160 and sprayed it that day. And they pointed out the bugs were coming from a wet area under the house where the drain was leaking. If it wasn't fixed, the bugs would keep coming.

I called Sentry at 8.30 am and described my problem. Within an hour the technician (Bill) was at the door. He inspected the attic and then went around the house looking for any indication of a rat infestation. He let me know that there was no sign of any recent rodent activity. He said there was some very old rat feces in the attic. I asked him about the noise and he said an animal can get under the tiles. He advised me to order rat poison from the internet (vitamin D3 bait) in order to control the local rat population; he said the poison sold in Lowes, Home Depot is not that effective because of state law (older type of rat poison often ended up killing other animals as well). I asked for the bill, and the technician said there was no charge since he hadn't done any work (other than the free inspection). Sentry obviously believes in honesty and they always do a good job (I have had other work done by Sentry over the years). I am very pleased with this company and will continue to seek their help whenever I have rats, termites, etc.

Everything went very well. I called and within 3 days their technician came and examined the termite-infested wood. He said he could treat it immediately since the infestation was in an accessible place (and it was relatively small). The work took about 20 minutes and the technician showed me some of the insects which wanted to escape the treatment. He explained that the treatment was bait which, when dry, is carried to the queen who eventually dies (along with her workers). We have used Sentry's services before and are very pleased with the way they run their business. Best of all, their services are quite reasonable and are very effective.

We moved to our house 4 years ago and had an ant and spider problem. Sentry came out and explained how spraying regular bug sprays would not help keep the bugs away. They sprayed one time and all our ants were gone in one month. We have not had ants in 4 years! We had a rat issue in our backyard and they came out and placed a couple of abatement traps and we haven’t had any issues after. We have them spray every other month and we couldn’t be happier. Sentry is a great reliable company. I will stick with what works.

I had already received an inspection and quote from another company. I wanted a few other quotes to see if I could bring that quote down. I was taken aback by the reason I was given when I was contacted and told that my initial appointment had to be rescheduled. However, the representative who came to give me my second quote was knowledgable. He explained in detail what would be done to treat for the termites. He answered my questions clearly. When he left I understood what I could expect. The guys who later came to perform the treatment gave me a heads up on what to expect (the noise in particular). When the treatment was completed I was given specifics about what they observed while applying the treatment, and showed me what they did. The only thing I didn't expect was that everything in the garage would be pulled into the middle of the room and left there. While I was disappointed by that, I understood that the sections of the concrete that had been drilled needed to remain uncovered because things were still wet. All in all I was extremely pleased with their work.

After they completed work I sent them an email (with pictures/attached) detailing issues we had with the quality of the work; as well as some other issues. They were apologetic and sent the same workers to make corrections. Below is my email to them after the corrections were made: "The guys just finished up. Some of the repairs look good while others are o.k. but not great. They replaced one of the chipped tiles but its placement was not ideal. Also, they were supposed to replace a longer portion of the fascia. They claimed they did not have a scaffolding high enough to allow them to do it. I would expect that they have all the necessary tools and equipment to do the job they are tasked with. In any case its fine. They put molding around the garage door and it looks good. They patched the floor but claimed since they were not responsible for the damage they did not need to color match the patch. The beam with the overlapping joint was completely replaced and it looked good. It looks like some of the other joints were likewise corrected. The real issue this time around was the customer service. In my previous correspondences with you I admitted that I can't be certain that they were responsible for some damage we noted. I only indicated that we did not notice the damage prior to their work and I was reluctant to actually blame them. On this occasion, the worker admitted that he chipped the tile on one side of the house and simply forgot about it. When my wife asked him why he did not fix another tile in the area where he was working, he adamantly denied being responsible for the damage. Likewise, with one of the beams that was not fully secured, he denied responsibility for that as well. The problem is that because he had already compromised his credibility we felt that the proper response was to simply say he would take care of the minor issues without being defensive or trying to justify himself. It would have amounted to a couple of dollars and a few extra minutes....instead It got heated. They offered to nail in the beam but it had progressed to the point where we simply asked them to leave. After they left we did a final look around the house and noticed a chip that matched the broken tile in the front as well as small slivers of glass on our table, under our overhead string lights. Prior to them leaving I had observed them taking them down to complete some of the repairs. I later saw that they were sweeping the area and that the lights were back up. Upon examining the lights after they left we saw that one of the bulbs was missing. Basically, they swept up, hung the lights back up....but never notified us that they broke a light. Its just a bulb and a minor expense that is no big deal...but the failure to advise us of it only cements the idea that more likely than not they probably WERE responsible for the other items that he denied responsibility for. In any case. I only request that someone (other than them) replace the one tile in the front and screw/nail in the beam in the back. Also to verify the number of linear feet that was actually replaced since they apparently do not have tools that would enable them to reach all the areas they may have needed to...I am reluctant to simply take their word for it at this point. Once done please charge the balance. " They did not respond to the above correspondence, did not make the requested corrections, and did not verify they total amount of linear footage that was supposed to be replaced.
