Based on my description, he told me it would be $500-$800. When he actually walked through the property, the estimate jumped to $1,400-$1,500. I need to stress that I didn't think $1,400-$1,500 was an unfair or unrealistic number. The job was filthy, labor intensive work. However, this man is supposed to be a professional. When he modified his estimate so substantially, I didn't complain, because I thought it was fair. However, at that point, he was standing in the house. He could see exactly what he was facing. He should have been able to give us an estimate that was very, very close to the final price, based on what he called his "extensive experience." But he continued to raise the price, every time he spoke to my husband on the phone. By the time the job was finished, we paid $2,389.75 for a job that was originally estimated at $500-$800! The job took two days. He assured us he had a "crew" ready to start work early the next morning. But on day 1, he had one woman at the house, and she arrived at 10 a.m., not 8 a.m. as he initially said. This is not professionalism. This is not the conduct of honorable business. This is bait-and-switch. This was a big job that fell into his lap, for which he was ill-prepared and ill-staffed, and he squeezed it for every penny he could get. Our mistake was in not getting a written estimate, and making it clear that we would not pay anything over that estimate. I won't make that mistake again. Mr. Orelli did the job for which we contracted. But he didn't staff it as he promised, and he certainly didn't bring it in for anything like his first estimate, or even his second estimate, even after he had done a walk-through of the property. He's supposed to have a better handle on how much time projects actually take, and he's supposed to be honest about his manpower capabilities. This is a cautionary tale to anyone who needs this kind of service. If you hire this company, get a written estimate, and insist that he honor it. Better yet, hire someone with some business ethics.

I am partially satisfied. They could do what their supervisor tells them too, sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. They don't always mop my floor even though they are suppose to.

WHILE THE WORK THAT WAS DONE WAS FAIRLY THOROUGH, I WAS DISAPPOINTED IT COST ALMOST TWICE AS MUCH AS THE ESTIMATE I WAS GIVEN OVER THE PHONE. THE COMPANY CHARGES $35/HR FOR EACH PERSON THAT THEY HAVE ON THE CREW. THERE WERE PROBABLY 10 PEOPLE CLEANING AT ONE POINT AND I'M NOT SURE HOW EFFICIENT THEY COULD BE SUPERVISING THAT MANY WORKERS. I WAS ALSO DISAPPOINTED THAT THEY DID NOT CLEAN THE TRACKS OF THE SLIDING GLASS DOORS OR WINDOW FRAMES.
