M & M Stairs*

We got an estimate and actually planned to have M & M Stairs come out to replace the spindles on our staircase.  Mark, who came to give the estimate was great and showed me options and gave me suggestions on what we could do.  However, we had so much trouble moving forward with the office person,Twila.  She didn't return phone calls or emails and actually didn't show for an appointment we had set up to get samples for a designer.  I offered to pick them up when I was in Simi Valley but Twila said she needed time to find them and would drop them off.  Well, I showed up to the appointment at my newly purchased house and she didn't show up!  We would have used this company and quickly put in the wrought iron, but it took so long to get responses, that we fell way behind schedule and had to move forward with carpet and floors without doing the wrought iron.  We didn't have time to restart the process of finding wrought iron with a new contractor because we needed to get carpet in on the stairwell.  My order wasn't that big and I'm sure there were other bigger clients that demanded their attention, but they really messed up my plans to get wrought iron on my staircase.  

The only downfall was the slight smell from the glue. He warned me of the unusual smell, but it was very strong and has lingered. Everything else was great.
