Kevin's Painting Company is a one man shop that has been serving the greater Ventura County area for the past 15 years. In addition to exterior/interior residential painting I also provide other home services, such as, expert custom wood restoration of front entry doors and furniture, patio repair/restoration, dry rot and termite damage inspection/repair, custom cat enclosures/walkways and miscellaneous home repair needs.

The things that stood out above other companies and the reasons we hired him was because he was that we could feel that he genuinely wants to please his customers. He is honest, friendly and doesn't make you feel like an idiot when asking remedial questions (like when you point to a part of the house and say and quot;can you paint that thing?and quot;). But more importantly, we not only wanted someone who was skilled but was also licensed for our peace of mind. Kevin's quote was the least expensive of any licensed company we received a quote from and he was the only one recommended from Angie's List. Another thing which he offered that no one else did was the fact that the paint has a light reflective value rating, so we could factor in (or rule out) certain colors that has a low reflective value which would fade more quickly. Now, it's not to say the other brand of paints by the other companies don't have this same rating, but Kevin is the only one who was willing to inform and educate us of the rating so that we were able to make a conscience color decision for our money. A few days after the estimate, we called to schedule the job.
About about a week before the start date, Kevin called to let me know they were a bit behind schedule due to recent heavy winds for the past few weeks, so we rescheduled a few weeks later. Then at the end of the last week before the revised start date I received a call stating they were caught up and would start the following morning to jump on all the wood siding sanding and repair.
His work crew arrived right on time each morning and by the time we got home from (which was 5:15pm), the crew were either just about to leave or had already left for the day. If they were still there when we arrived, the foreman would give us a status update on their progress. The total job covered 4 days. On the last day of the job, the crew had already left and we noticed the bill (which was an exact copy of our original quote) was on the front door step. That evening, my spouse and I walked around and found some small things here and there that we felt still needed some attention. It was mostly small areas that were either missed, had a little paint over-spray or or texture coating was not fully filled in. I contacted Kevin to ask that we do a walk around together which we did the following week. When we went around the house, every thing we mentioned, no matter how embarrassingly tiny it was, Kevin wrote down so that he can have the same foreman back out to touch up. He did not question, dismiss, or dispute anything we asked and wanted to be sure we were more than satisfied with his company's work. A few days later, the foreman arrived at their normal start time and took care of all the touch ups we asked for.
Overall, we are exceptionally happy with Kevin's Painting Service. The only thing I regret is not asking for enough business cards because after sharing our positive experience with family and friends, you will be asked for many cards! We really do have a painter for life!

Is there a way to contact [member name removed], I would like to talk to her to find out about the Painting company that worked for her. There is alot of immoral people out there, who would use my Licence number to do work on peoples homes."
Kevin was very Professional, Prompt every day and worked longer days, because we were expecting friends arriving
from Ireland in few days.
Thanks to Kevin we got furniture in place and drapes hung, and the home looked beautiful.
We will be contacting him for all future painting and home repairs.
