Nice guy. On time. Job completed in a reasonable amount of time. Final cost was less than the estimate. Harvey will be my first choice next time.

My refrigerator was having a recurring issue. I called all of the highest-rated repair persons on Angie's list and got the run-around. Prices to repair an ailing fridge with the problem I described varied from $250.00 to as much as $500.00 just to start the work. Thank God I found Harvey!! I called him; he arrived on time. He said I needed an upgrade part for a defect in the freezer drainage line. I l.looked it up, and he was right! I learned that 100's of refrigerators have this defect and he was the only repair person who knew about it. Now my Kitchen Aid purrs like a kitten. Harvey is honest, knowledgable, experienced, and his prices are fair. I would not hesitate to call him again.

I had to wait a week for Harvey to have the time to fix my broken dryer timer because he's so busy and now I know why! He's definitely worth the wait! He arrived exactly on time and replaced my broken timer very quickly and efficiently. He is so thorough and experienced! He checked the bearing and glides to assure that my dryer would continue to work properly and last longer. Both were worn out and in need of replacement. In addition, he discovered that there was a large crack in the trap which could have caused damage to our clothes. He ordered the parts needed and returned today (again within the time frame quoted), to complete the job. He's so knowledgeable and a genuinely caring person! Do not hesitate to hire him! He is the BEST & goes above and beyond to provide great service!

We found Harvey on Angies list about a year ago and he has fixed our dishwasher 3 times and our oven once. He is hands down the best appliance repairman that I have ever used. He has diagnosed every problem over the phone and has been right every time. His prices are very reasonable and the only negative is that he is very busy and sometimes can't come for up to a week, but he is worth the wait. And No I am not a friend or relative he is simply incredibly good at what he does!

In Harvey's reviews you will notice common themes. He knows what he's doing, he'll do anything he can to help you and he will not be on time. We bought a used dryer from Harvey a couple weeks ago and it quit. Harvey came over and replaced the motor for free. He stood behind his sale and took care of his customer. He is now my go to appliance guy. He works 24/7 if need be. He may get a little testy at times but he's an old guy like me and has a right to.  Harvey knows his stuff. THANKS Harvey!!!!

We got our cooktop burner switches repaired through Harvey. He completed the job in a short amount of time. He also gave us some tips on how to correctly use the switches. The only downside was the lack of punctuality. Our appointment was at 10 am and he arrived at 11 am, after I called and left a voicemail plus sent a text. He made no mention of either of those nor offered any explanation for the delay. It would have been nice to be informed if he was running late.Other than that it was a job well done. The rates were also reasonable.

I called Harvey because my drier wouldn't start. Rather than jumping into his truck and coming over to diagnose the problem (most places charge almost $100 just for the house call) Harvey asked me a number of questions, isolated the problem to a broken knob and said he might have a replacement if I could come to his place. This was the Sunday morning before Christmas. Harvey found the replacement part and charged me just $5 for the entire transaction. Harvey knew what he was talking about. In this day, it's a rare tradesperson who would do what Harvey did. If I ever need a minor or  a major appliance repair, I would immediately call Harvey.

Everything went great from start to finish. Harvey exceeded our expectations.

Because I thought my washing machine was broken (I thought it had overflowed), he tested it thoroughly, explained several things about the machine that I didn't already know (like how to place the clothes in the basket, to mix fabric softener with an equal amount of water before placing in the dispenser) but eventually when the machine started to drain, we discovered that the problem actually was a clog in my drain, and not a problem w/ my machine. He had told me this was usually the problem - and he was right! I should have let him tell me that on the phone as he tried to do in the first place, but then I wouldn't have met him at all and that would be too bad, because he was a pleasure to work with and I CERTAINLY will call him if and when I need any appliance repair in the future.

Harvey arrived on time and quickly located the problem with the oven. He ordered the
part while at my house and came back later to install. Very knowledgable, trustworthy
person. I will call him from now on whenever I have an appliance problem.

Harvey arrived on time and was very nice. He found the problem easily and showed us every step of the way what he was doing and why. He replaced the heating element on our gas dryer (I was afraid that I might have to get a new dryer!). He gave us tips on how to use the appliance better and removed a bunch of debris and change out from under the drum. He gave us a good price and the work was done well. He is now MY appliance guy : )

Was suppose to arrive at 11 a.m. and didn't arrive get here until evening. He called once to say he would be late
but was much later than he stated.

I would give him 5 stars and an A rating. He has a standard price which is $75 unless parts are involved. It is really reasonable. He works everyday and he works for himself. He is self taught. He is an older guy and it reminds me of old school. He shows up and he is a sweet old guy. He comes out and fixes the appliances. He came out once and fixed our dishwasher and he came out another time and fixed our refrigerator and this cost us a little more because it needed another part. I think it needed a computer board and he had one in the truck. He took care of it that night and on the spot. I had some problem with spotting of my dishwasher and I called him and instead of coming out he told me how I could fix it myself using vinegar. It worked and it actually cost him work by teaching me how to do it myself. This is the guy you wish you knew about when something goes wrong with your appliances in Simi Valley. He is awesome and great. I seen his reviews online and he had 5 stars for all the reviews. All of his reviews are great and you don't want to just pay him, you would want to hug him. He is the first number I would dial if any of my appliances go bad.

He did the work on a holiday and didn't charge m extra for that. He is really good.
