Bob was efficient, thorough and a real advocate. His report was professional, concise and easy to read. If you are going to buy a home, buyers beware; get a good inspector to be your advocate. Bob is a good inspector.

Bob was recommended by two of my close friends who highly recommended him. Made the appt. with Bob and he came promptly on a Saturday. Bob was courteous and highly professional. He took the time to go over what he looks for and explained some of the specific areas that needed attention. I left after around 45 minutes but he stayed for around 3 hours. He went on top of the roof and also went underneath the house. The depth and breadth of his knowledge of buildings and systems was very apparent and appreciated. Advice was given as to potential repair as well. Bob later emailed me a full Inspection Report (around 40 pages) including color pictures of problem areas. I don't have that much experience with building inspectors but so far, after bringing in specific contractors (plumbing, pesticide, etc.), he's been pretty accurate. I consider the money spent worth every penny and wound't hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needs an accurate and honest inspection report.

6/3/11:  I recommended Bob to two of my friends and they were impressed.  One of them had a bad experience with an inspector and used Bob as a secondary inspector; he found flaws/issues that were missed.  Bob is the REAL DEAL.   JL

This is the third home we have purchased and we have never had a better experience with a home inspector than the one we had with Bob Guyer. Recommended to us by our real estate agent, Bob was incredibly thorough and explained in detail everything he was reviewing on the house we were buying. He answered all of our questions, and left us with a complete report. He was extremely professional and really seemed to know his stuff. I would highly recommend him.

The cost was by square footage. He was great.
