After getting many bids from other landscape companies I decided to go with Ryan at Dave Haugh construction. This was not an easy job as my backyard is small however to remove all the dirt its literally 1 wheel barrol at a time. Trying to find the right person was quite the task as many of the bids ranged in prices. I really liked Ryan's approach with the job and his upfront honest approach about how to handle this job. I had many ideas and didnt not know how they would all come together and mesh. Ryan was a true professional and I needed that because of my job I had to travel during this project so I needed someone I can trust to continue to work the job while I was out of town. What really sold me on this company was the fact I wanted to put elevate the fire pit area with a step to break up the pavers and add some depth to the back yard. He was the only one to say it was not going to cost me extra and that it actually saves them from having to remove all that access dirt. He even mentioned we can add lighting around the step and make it pop. The job went great and Ryan was very responsive to all my questions and concerns about the whole process. After starting our intial job we added a few more thing onto the job as we went on. I had Ryan go ahead and do the pavers on the side of the house, landscape the backyard, and help fix our fence that would help make it last a few more years. I would refer Ryan to my friends and family as many of them have come over and have been very impressed with his work.

Ryan was excellent to work with.  He had to coordinate his work with the Electrician performing other work at the sight.  He was very professional and went out of his way to work around the Electrician's schedule.  Ryan's crew was able to repair the wall and dig the trench within 2 days of being notified by the Electrician of the requirement.  You can't tell that the wall was repaired it looks very professions.  The stucco work on the side of the house was perfect.  You can't tell where the old stucco ends and the new stucco begins.  The quality of the work performed was exceptional.  I plan on using his service to do a complete landscaping and hardscaping of my backyard and front yard. 

First day, crew showed up 7 a.m. removed old driveway, cut out and removed tree roots, leveled and prepared ground for concrete. The second day another crew came at 6:30 a.m., prepared area for cement truck which came at 7 a.m. Concrete was poured, leveled smooth, with a brush finish on top. Both crews were prompt, worked hard, and cleaned up afterwards. I'm very happy the way the project turned out. I can now park two cars on driveway instead of just one.

HE GAVE US AN HONEST PRICE, GOT ESTIMATES FROM 3 OTHER DRIVEWAY COMPANIES. ALSO DID NOT HARM FLOWERS ON BOTH SIDES OF EXISTING DRIVEWAY. ONLY ONE THING WAS NOT GOOD. SOME MAN WORKING KEPT CEMENT ON YARD, IT GOT HARD, BUT HE SENT SOMEONE TO CLEAN IT!
