Crossbreeze Screens

Mike and staff gave me a rough quote over the phone...and I ended up paying less!  On top of that they are very competitive with their pricing.  As there were a ton of screens to redo, I decided to work with someone who would work onsite.  They arrived on time.  There were a few screens that needed to be redone due to ripples in the screening material or poor fit of the screen itself. He was working with 50 year old screen frames and I appreciated the fact that he didn't try to upsell me on buying new frames as well.  Part of the requirement for a revisit was my fault.  There were a few things going on that day and I didn't inspect as closely as I should of.  Be that as it may, Mike did return on time and fixed everything.  He acknowledged he should have also checked more carefully.  The important thing is not that mistakes were made...everyone does that many times throughout a lifetime...it was that he acknowledged the mistake and made it right without complaint and all the while remaining pleasant and professional.

It all came out exactly as expected.  The screens and doors all fit well, and they look great.  I won't hesitate to call for future service.

Mike, the owner called to advise me if he come early, instead of waiting for the appointed time, which was great. After reviewing the situation, Mike suggested a way that he could save me additional cost on this work. How may service providers would reduce their profits to help the customer out and to save them money. Mike did a great job, a very nice person and very good work in an efficient manner.  Ron 

It was perfect and there were no issues. Everything's working fine. It was a same-day service and it was really nice. I called and the guy came out; it was pretty much straightforward.

See above comments. Mike is very pleasant and most helpful. I would highly recommend him for any screen repair. I love the convenience of having the work done at my home without my having to take the screens out and taking them to the hardware store.

This was my first time using Cross Breeze Screens. I found good reviews on other sites, so I called for an estimate. Mike was punctual with all his visits. I was potentially interested in a security screen door for the front door, and traditional screen doors for side and back doors. Another mobile screen service gave me an estimate, and I also priced screen doors at Lowe's. He wisely advised me to double-check with my homeowners association regarding the security screen door in the front. The other mobile screen service hadn't said anything about this, and I appreciated Mike's attention to detail and consideration.
Once I decided to use Cross Breeze Screens, Mike came over to make sure he had all the correct measurements. In the end, I chose to just get the rear screen door installed. Mike was correct that my HOA would not allow a front security screen door. He showed me how the back door frame was not square, and would require a custom installation, but did not charge extra. When the screen door arrived a few days later, he showed up on time to install the door. He built some custom framing onto the door frame to make the door fit well into the frame. When he was finished, the door looked great, was well-balanced, fit and snugly.
I was very pleased with his work and would use him again.
