The job from start to finish took 7 working days. The tear off took 2 of those days. Robert Capaldi and his crew were on time every morning and made sure I knew what to expect on the day. The crew were so neat, cleaning up my property everyday after they were finished on the roof. Robert wanted me the customer to see that what he contracted to do was done. I saw the roof after the tear off and was able to inspect it's condition with Robert. In my case there were no surprises with the sheeting. There were a few spots of dry rot that he found and fixed for no additional money. At this point they cut in the new roof vents and attic solar fans. Then covered the whole roof with the latest non- tar paper Owens Corning Underlayment, using extra WeatherLock water Barrier around the chimney. I choose the CertainTeed Presidential Shake Luxury Shingles in Shadow Gray color. These are 50 year shingles and twice as much work to install as regular shingles, but I wanted the dimension of the Shake style and never wanted to do this again. In the end just a great job, with such attention to detail. And those solar roof vents have lowered the temp of my attic by at least 30 degrees, great suggestion from Capaldi Roofing.
