Description of Work: I had another piano tuner doing some work on my piano. He became ill and oculdn't finish the work. I looked up on Angie's List for someone in my area and found Steve O'Connor. I called his company and he answered and was so attentive to me on the phone. I explained my situation and he offered to call the other tuner. He called me back within a few minutes and told me he would pick up the piano part from the other tuner on the upcoming Friday and bring it to my house. He quoted me $200 for everything. Friday he was right on time and as he came in and set to work to install the parts back into my piano, I learned that the other tuner had not quite finished the repair work, as we were both led to believe and he still wanted me to pay him $125 for work he had done before becoming ill. Steve offered to finish the work and still not charge me more than he quoted on the phone. I had to leave my home for another appointment and left Steve to work on the piano with one of my grown sons to pay him when he was finished. I returned to find the work finished and was so grateful to have my piano back and in good working order. I was very impressed with Steve and his friendliness and his going the extra mile to help get my piano in working order. I would have him come again and will recommend him to others who need their pianos tuned or restored or repaired.
