They did a great job on our driveway gate. Came on time, were professional and fixed it very fast. Price was very good as well (we did call several other places before calling them) and we will definitely use them in the future if needed!
He was finished in about 40 minutes, leaving the job site clean.
He gave me a few tips on maintenance that I was unaware of.
The garage door now operates with much less noise.
Of course, this happened on a Sunday night but I live in a safe neighborhood so I chanced it and slept with the garage door partially open for the night with stuff piled up at the opening. Monday I called Archway and I was given a 2 hour window for a technician to come out and do a same day repair James showed up at the beginning of the two hour window and had the door repaired in an hour or so. He was very professional, knowledgeable, had all the needed parts in his truck and was very reasonably priced.
Archway was my second choice, just because they came up second on the list of contractors. The first contractor came out and told me he couldn't get to it until the next morning because he needed two guys and that I should look for someone to come out same day. He was very nice and he also told me a rail needed to be replaced.
James from Archway did this work by himself, repaired the existing rail and was about half the price of what the first guy quoted.
I am very satisfied with the work that was done, the door is working perfectly and I highly recommend Archway.
This is a long standing father and son business with Rick and James doing most of the work themselves. They gave us an appointment for the estimate within 24 hours, were on time, and offered better advice regarding the installation than we received from other bidders. They were also the low bidder.
James dropped off the framing wood a few days in advance so that I could paint it to match before installation which was a big help. They were on time, very efficient, and the installation was much quicker than I expected. The doors look great and they even matched the homelite buttons in our cars to the new openers. Great service. Nice guys. I recommend them.
