"Ms.[removed member name], Again I want to Thank You for purchasing a AC tune UP from Angieslist, To Be perfectly honest Im Surprised with your Review of our company and service,In fact to be honest you are the first one in 30 years that has ever had an issue. We arrived to your home on time, with two techs that you are not paying for two but we find doing many calls in one area its faster to have two, OUR CHOICE but not an extra cost, Second you purchased a 49.00 AC TUNE up.. Meaning the unit needed to run to perform any testing or to find any problems with the unit. Your Run Cap was blown, meaning unless it was replaced there was nothing we could do to complete the tune up. I told you the price and what may be needed once we had the unit running, There was NO PRESSURE to have these services done, YOU may it very clear that you didnt have the money and to be kind.I gave you the Cost of the install of the part and you said GO with it. Yes we had to enlarge the hole a little, Many brands of run caps are different sizes and shapes today, we try tohave as many as we can but at times you need to adjust for that, Once the part was put in , it started with no problem and we were able to finish the tune up, We checked temps and found temp way off, We hookeed up our gauges and found the unit very low with R22 freon, We inspected to see any signs of a leak, there were done, You said no one had ever serviced the unit, after reading the plate on the side of your unit it said it had 200 plus OZ of freon. Yes thats alot but i Didnt purchase the unit, It is what it is, At that time is said you may be 3 lb or more low of froen and it would be 50.00 a LB for R22.... again you said to be kind and go ahead and do it. IN fact the unit took over 7 LBs, and I was kind only billing for 5lbs, and this isnt a random number, bottles are wieght each time to get the poundage, We got our pressures and temps in the house, Check duct that had it own issues and was explained, we checked filter and cleaned up , I knew were concern about the cost. BUT AT NO TIME did you say no i cant , so I wrote up the bill, between the cost of the run cap and freon it was a little over 500.00, Remember you purchased a AC TUNE not a complete AC repair. YOU being a teacher Yes i gave you a discount, Its all over my web site and im happly to do that, I didnt charge you the true poundage for the freon, In all the discounts i did give you , it even included the cost of your purchase of the AC tune up. You were so happy and even in tears that we were so nice and so helpful, and told me of the bad experiances you did have.. In fact when I left I thought we had done a good deed for the day and really helped someone that really needed it, I think if you spent as much time calling around and pricing what i did to others in the area a. As you did posting this comment. I think you will find out that we did you RIGHT and not the sad Comment you have posted......I take great pride with all our customers and our comments for years proves it, I guess Its always true we cant please everyone, even when you do it not enough. I guess you thought you were getting a complete AC repair for 49.00. Im sorry for your confusion. But I made sure you were aware of everything as we were going and you could of said no at any time.And we would of gladly cleaned up and left.
