Love them.  Very professional.  He's a little more expensive but well worth the money as he everything the correct way.

Danny Osti and his crew have been taking care of our trees for several years. This is a small local company with personalized service and a consistent crew. Danny's experienced workers stay with him because he compensates them fairly and offers them benefits (like insurance) that other operations don't. Danny's ethics mean his services aren't the cheapest in town, but I gladly pay a bit more to have my trees cared for perfectly and to support fair treatment for workers. Work is done carefully and by hand--not just massive chops like I've seen my neighbors' cheap-o tree service doing as they butcher their trees. Danny and his crew always do a great job shaping our many trees and  they clean up after themselves beautifully. Sometimes they do the job while I am at work and when I get home, I can't even tell they've been there, except that my trees look great (but no leaves or branches ANYWHERE on the ground!). Danny is very knowledgeable about trees and especially local problems (pests, etc.)--but he also won't try to oversell you if a tree doesn't need attention. I recommend Danny Osti without hesitation.

I JUST PURCHASED A LARGE PROPERTY WITH MANY GREAT OLD TREES. I WANTED TO GET AN ARBORISTS OPINION REGARDING THE HEALTH OF MY TREES AND SOME CONSULTATION REGARDING WHAT IMPACT A FUTURE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT WOULD HAVE ON THE TREES. I CALLED DANNY OSTI TREE SERVICE AND TALKED TO DANNY. HE CAME OVER TO MY PROPERTY THAT AFTERNOON AND TOLD ME THAT HE KNEW MY PROPERTY VERY WELL AND HAS KEPT THE TREES HEALTHY FOR THE PREVIOUS OWNERS FOR YEARS. HE TOLD ME THE DO'S AND DON'T ABOUT MY TREES AND HOW MY CONSTRUCTION PROJECT WILL IMPACT THE TREES. WHEN WE WHERE DONE I ASKED HIM FOR A BILL AND HE SAID THERE WAS NO CHARGE. THAT'S HOW YOU DO BUSINESS !  I WILL ABSOLUTELY USE HIS TREE SERVICE IN THE FUTURE.

Excellent. Everything looked beautiful when done. Efficiant and profressional. Danny and crew are the best!!!

We really liked his service and he was very personable and we really liked his work.

Excellent experience overall.
I needed the Carolina Cherry removed in order to build a footing for a retaining wall.
Danny (Owner) came over the day after I first called. Gave a price on just the Carolina cherry. ($350 for cutting down the tree, $750 for tree and removing the stump.) We discussed various options (Grinder vs. Digging out stump.
That evening, I spoke with my wife and explained that much of the cost was in just getting set up and cleaning up afterwards, so we would save money if we did any other tree service work at the same time. I called Danny, and he came back the next day to look at the other work I was interested in. He gave me a quote of $1775, and I immediately agreed. (I wanted the work done well and soon, and had looked at his reviews and had good verbal report from a neighbor.)
Danny said they would do the work the following Wednesday. On Tuesday, he and his son (who runs the grinder) stopped by to plan the work. Both are experienced, live in the area, certified arborists, and authorized to trim trees by the city of La Canada.
Wednesday went smooth. The workers were polite, professional and quick. They left the area cleaner than when they arrived. They even stacked the firewood from the Black Locust neatly with my other firewood, down the driveway.
The bill was exactly as quoted.
I will definitely call Danny next time I have tree work to be done.

My sister liked Danny Osti Tree Service and would recommend him. He did a good job. You can't even see where it was cut down. They took the stump out and ground it down and then covered up the area. I know it was a fair price. They have a good reputation in town. I heard no complaints from my sister.

They did a really nice job. They cleaned up everything very well. I would recommend them over and over again. They did a lot of work for me. I will use this company in the future.

Danny Osti Tree Service is excellent! He does beautiful, artistic work. His guys are very careful. They clean up properly. He takes very good care of his men. He is an artistic workman. He is very experienced and helpful. I have used him for 30 years.

It was the only time I ever used him. He was doing tree work next door and I was getting worried because my husband was doing all the pruning and of course with him gone, it want happening. I went over because I recognized the name Osti, because my son grew up with a buddy with that last name. It turned out to be his nephew and he came over and said that it’s not going to take them all day to do the work next door; so it would save me money if they did the work I wanted the same day. I will call him back to get my other things trimmed. He was really, really nice. He is a certified arborist; so you don’t want somebody that doesn’t know what they are doing to prune things like avocado trees. He has a really good reputation.
