They did an excellent job. Cleaned up well, excellent job. We have a sizeable home and the way it was constructed it was a complicated deal. We had three estimates and two never got back to us, they didn't want to mess with it because it was hard. They figured it out and did a good job. It was an unusual situation and we got an unusual system. It was upgraded. There was no duct work. It was electric ceiling heat. That worked, we never called them out we never had a problem. They were "A" excellent. We had a winter house and they replaced the heater. We had to scramble that in. That was really a long time ago. He put a system in, but it wasn't the right system. The heater that he put in the heater closet didn't fit, the house was built in the middle 60s, so he got a system that he made it fit. The one in this house is really good, I'm really happy with it. They put a furnace in there that wasn't supposed to have a filter in the housing, so to compensate for it, they tapped one in. It was crumby, I had to make one because if not the dust would fly all over the place, but the one where we're happy with it. My husband knew the filter was not right, but no one complained.He's a really good guy, but it happened to us. My husband created a filter, we created that because we don't want stuff flying over the furniture and stuff.

Jim did a good job. My only suggestion would be to hire additional help during the busy seasons, as it took a while to make an appointment.

Came within hours. Great to have A/C back so quick with temps over 100 degrees.

I had four companies come out and review my existing heating and air system. Two large companies told me I needed a new system from a range of $10,000 to $17,000. Then two local companies in the Placerville area came out. Both did not recommend a new system, but recommended repair the existing system. Price ranged from $800.00 to $450.00.

I requested and received estimates from four HVAC vendors.  The bids varied from $14,000+ to $28,000+.  Confort King was among the least expensive.
The installation was on time, high quality and professional.  On the second floor we have a study room that received poor heating/cooling.  Comfort King replaced and restructured the heating/cooling air vents in the second floor attic, and greatly improved the heating/cooling for the study, which saved me the potential expense of installing a third HVAC system dedictaed to the study room.
In order to insure an excellent installation, I offered and paid a bonus to the Comfort King emplyeess that instatlled the HVAC system.  The HVAC system is working flwlessly.
I am extremely satisfied with Comfort King.

From first call to the office, the dispatcher was very helpful in scheduling a technician as quickly as possible within our restricted availability due to other pressing commitments.  In fact, she was able to get someone to us the next day.  On the day of service, we received a courtesy call to confirm we were on their schedule and subsequently received two update calls informing us of delays encountered by the technician and updating the expected arrival time.  Anyone who has ever been "held hostage" waiting all day for a repairman to show up can truly appreciate this conscientiousness.  The technician, Jim, arrived on time based on the updates, apologized for the delay, and went right to work.  He quickly determined the system was in good shape but was low on refrigerant.  Since the system hadn't been serviced with refrigerant for about 7 years, he concluded that any leakage was very minute.  He serviced the system with about 3 pounds of refrigerant and then cleaned and evaluated the unit.  Jim was very helpful in answering all my questions and addressing my concerns.  He said they'd monitor any further refrigerant loss on subsequent service calls but if we noted any more problems to give him a call.  They charged $99 for the diagnosis which was the same price I paid 7 years ago and is very reasonable for the service rendered.  The cost of R-22 refrigerant was $52 per pound and Jim said it had gone up substantially in the last year or so.  This isn't really in Comfort Kings control and I was very satisfied with their service.  So far the system is once again performing very well.

THEY DID A GREAT JOB. THEY WERE VERY NICE AND HELPFUL. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME AND GOT THE JOB DONE VERY QUICKLY. I THOUGHT THEY WERE VERY POLITE AND COURTEOUS. I HAVE NOT HAD PROBLEMS WITH THIS COMPANY.
