Oren and his team, led by Milton, were the absolute best when we gutted and redid our kitchen. Professional, kind, communicative, proactive and fair - everything you'd want in a company you invite into your home and are asking to make big changes! We've already personally recommended them to friends and family but cannot sing their praises more highly. Literally no complaints, and I know that is often not the case with contractors! They came in way ahead of schedule, and we always felt taken care of, seen, appreciated, and respected. We are planning more projects in the future and already know without a doubt we'll work with them again!

I hired South Land to renovate my 1950s kitchen and teeny tiny laundry area after meeting with numerous contractors. I really liked owner Oren and his right hand man Ilan. They have a terrific team of workers and pay attention to detail from start to finish. This is a good thing because I am a perfectionist.  I purchased my own floor tile and backsplash (they provide great suggestions as to where to shop), appliances (I did mostly online) and (thru them, the beautiful quartz countertop). They did all demo down to studs, hired architect, got permits, purchased and installed cabinets, installed 4' window, electrical, flooring, plumbing, drywall, walls and ceiling painting and repair, countertop install, install appliances and fixtures, stucco, haul away, etc. They got the whole job done in approximately 6-7 weeks. Cost a bit pricey, but most likely due to patching up 3 windows, relocating plumbing, taking down some short walls, relocating water heater to outside, etc. Overall, very happy to recommend.

Oren is a pro! He was on time, communicates well, easily understood my requests. He helped me find a good tile store. He and his crew did the work quickly and carefully. There was an issue refinishing my countertop (dirt had seeped into the concrete due to it being in disrepair). Oren let me know about the issue, gave me some options, and correctly set my expectation for the options.
I would recommend him to a friend, and would use him again.

South Land Remodeling was recommended by a friend, and there were good reviews on Angie's List, so we gave them a call. The owner, Oren, responded quickly to our initial request for a roofing estimate. He arrived when scheduled, was very knowledgeable, and gave us a quote for the roofing that was in line with several other companies. Meanwhile, we found termite damage on our decks. Oren came back and gave us estimates on repairs to the deck, and some water damage in the house from roofing leaks. At the same time I asked for estimates on the other work we wanted to complete in the bathrooms. Work started in May and ended in June. During every phase of work, Oren was on site almost every day and responded immediately to all calls. His crews were punctual, professional, and worked six days a week. I was surprised because other contractors often didn't show up for days at a time while working at our house in the past. That never happened with this job. Several issues came up, and Oren always took care of the problems immediately. He was very fair, and worked with us when we needed to make changes as the work progressed. The quality of their work is excellent. I will definitely use South Land Remodeling in the future, and have already recommended them to friends.

They worked quickly & efficiently. Project manager stayed on top of job & everything was completed on schedule. Love the results!

We now were ready to remodel the kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Once again, we came to Angie's List and got 3 estimates. Then we called Oren from Southland Home Remodeling because he did such a great job on our Master Bath a few years ago. Once again, he had the best creative ideas at the best overall price, so once again we hired the same company.

We had materials (stone, tiles, appliances, fixtures) arriving at our home almost daily. Oren was excellent at orchestrating the work with the arrival of the appropriate materials. There was always work to be done while other materials hadn't yet arrived. He and his team never had a single unproductive day. They worked between the kitchen, living room, and 2 bathrooms interchangeably as the materials flowed in.

A really amazing SURPRISE BONUS:
They ended up with a little extra granite from the counter tops, so Oren said he would 'gift' me a new counter in my own little bathroom in my little office. He refinished the cabinet and repainted the room - ALL AT NO EXTRA CHARGE! He said he just didn't want to waste any of the materials that we had already paid for (and that I shouldn't have 1 left-over old bathroom when all of the rest of the house had been re-done)!

WOW!

Our beautiful home was approaching 25 years old, and needed a facelift. We never liked the layout of the bathroom - it made no sense. We contacted and received bids from 3 contractors, and Oren (Southland) had the best ideas at the best price. He made such a good impression on my husband and myself that we felt comfortable dealing with him right from the beginning. After agreeing on a schedule and a final price, he began the following Monday morning. His crew showed up at 8am sharp every single day. Because I work at home, I was ambivalent about having workers in my home each day (a privacy issue). But Oren and his crew were unbelievably quiet, courteous and tidy. They made sure to cover EVERYTHING (almost mummified our furniture - happily), and they never tracked dirt through our house.

They all worked tirelessly every day, and because I wanted to choose the appliances, fixtures and materials myself, Oren was soooo helpful all the way. One day, they left the gate open to the driveway and my little dog ran away. Upon discovering this, they all felt so bad, so they went on-foot or in their cars and searched the neighborhood until they found him and brought him back. They were so great about this, and they never left the gate open again.

Oren brought in his cabinet guys, his flooring guys, his plumbing guys, all of whom were terrific to work with.

They finished the project right on the exact deadline date, and I must say that it is fit for a magazine cover. Their are so many little things that I have never seen before (like inlaying the extra counter granite into each of the cabinet doors - classy!) that the whole things really dressed up the entire Master Suite.

After hearing about all those bad contractor stories, we were so please to have found Oren and Southland Home Remodeling. We would recommend them HIGHLY for ANYONE at ANY BUDGET!
