Greg assessed the job and set things up. One of the things that stood out is the thought that went into finding the best way to achieve the desired result, in terms of aesthetics as well as cost. Giovanni, Lalo & Domingo showed up on time and did an amazing job. This was not an easy one. They had to climb inside the bamboo up high at times to trim it, but they got it done. They cleaned up both neighbors yards, as well as ours, and we are very happy with the work. Thank you to Gio, Lalo, Domingo, Greg and the whole crew. Outstanding work!

Very prompt and responsive. Gregg stopped by on a Saturday morning to walk the job, gave a price on the spot. We scheduled the work a week later and it took two days to complete. Crews did a great job....I am particularly happy with the quality of the tree trimming (the trees still look like pretty trees not chopped up twigs i have seen at other homes in the neighborhood) and clean up at the end of the job (its like they were not there). While price was within my budget, I do feel it was on the high end which is the reason for a B rating in that category. There were about 10 guys the first day who got most of the work done and then 2 - 3 guys the second day who finished up. In my mind, I thought it would take multiple crews 2 1/2 days to do the work. In truth, I did not question it or attempt to negotiate it down, so it is on me if i did not get the most competitive pricing...regardless, I am very happy with the job they did and the end result so i got what I paid for...I will 100% use them again.

After leaving a voicemail with Greg on a Sunday afternoon for some serious tree service, I was delighted by his extremely prompt response time to discuss the job. Furthermore, I was absolutely thrilled that his workers were able to come out the very next day! Gio and Lalo arrived right on time. After studying the geometry of the tree Gio and Lalo safely, thoroughly, and expertly scaled one of the largest pine trees I have ever seen. They were extremely professional and I would recommend Sherman Oaks Tree Service to anyone who cares enough to have the job done professionally.

They were great!! Oscar gave me a estimate of how much it would be to remove a ficus tree from my patio. It included removing the stump and roots. I got other estimates but other companies didn't want to bother with the stump removel. They said since no access from the back and couldn't get equipment through. Oscar and his man brought the equipment through my house and were very careful of my wood floors and put down tarps to protect it. They went the extra mile and it was worth it!

Oscar came out to give an estimate and we began work the following week. His crew was on time, very thorough, took care not to butcher our trees, performed the work exactly as we had discussed. Very professional & courteous and the clean up was immaculate.

Very well. They cleared the dead trees, topped the pine, trimmed several other trees on the lot to open our views. I was very pleased with the outcome.

Owner came out and gave us an estimate and was very fast in returning follow up calls. Crew was timely, professional and courteous. Oscarr, the crew manager, was amazing to work with and extremely responsive to our requests. Great clean-up. Cost was competitive.

Greg was terrific. He came by and gave me an honest assessment that our tree didn't need trimming. I appreciate his forthrightness. 

The crew worked carefully to avoid any branches/debris falling on property behind ours, meeting that neighbor's demand. Over 3 days, the crew cut/removed the tree (60 ft high x 60 ft wide). They cleaned up very well afterwards and caused no damage to other trees or structures.

Sherman Oaks Tree Service provided excellent service and workmanship.  Our job was large - it was a multiday job to cut down  6 large pine trees (50ft tall each) and a plum tree. The job was difficult as it was in a steep canyon.  Gregg spent significant time informing us of our options, and provided a creative solution - to reuse the trunks of the trees as soil retention structures.  The job was completed at the quoted price (beating the competition) and in a timely fashion.  
We were 100% satisfied with the job, and plan on using Sherman Oaks Tree Service again for tree service.

I have used Sherman Oaks Tree Service before and will continue to use them in the future.  They are responsive, caring and clean up the areas well,  and go beyond the norm.  Because they were working around a pool, they brought a tarp to over the pool to keep leaves and pulled items out of it.  The crew really puts in a work day, hustling all the time.  Their tree trimmer is a true artist.  I would highly recommend them.

The company showed up on time and removed the trees with no damage, leaving everything clean and neat.  The front of our house looks fantastic.  Very professional, flexible and performed the job perfectly for a great price.  I highly recommend this company.
