Never came back to fix landscape lights.

The work and timeliness in completing this project was excellent. In the contract there was a 2 month follow up regarding the landscaping. Dave showed up one time. Several plants died and he said he would replace them. I tried to schedule a specific date. I was unable to reach Dave after many phone calls to find out when he was going to replace the plants. There was either no answer or his phone was not accepting messages. Dave finally called me back and he came over to see which plants needed to be replaced. He agreed that he would and that was about a month ago. I still am unable to reach Dave at this time as his phone is not accepting messages. To sum it up Dave and his crew did a great job. It was a pleasure working with him.

David was very professional and responsive to my requests. They submitted the application for the dwp rebate for turf removal and his crew did an excellent job of installing the new landscape. It looks great and even came in a little under the estimate!

Had gone into this project thinking that the tree needed to be removed due to a huge branch breaking off but ended up just having the tree trimmed. Sherman Oaks Landscaping was able to do a excellent job lacing the tree, thinning out and outstanding job cleaning up. David was very nice and even did more then we even ask them to do. Would definitely use them again.

I hired Sherman Oaks Landscaping to replace a LA City sidewalk - needed to meet LA City specifications and multiple inspections (pre-start, forms, compaction, and finish. David James and his crew did a great job working with the LA City inspector and completing the job right the first time! Also, his rates were very competitive with at least 3 other quotes. I highly recommend him and his crew for future masonry work. In fact, I am hiring him to replace my entire driveway (approximately 750 sq ft) as well as install all new front yard landscaping, lighting, sprinklers plants & pathways.

Competent - removed the City tree in the parkway as well as my neighbor's tree (both tree roots were impacting my driveway, sidewalk and yard). Got along will with the neighbors, work was completed in a professional manner and met all schedule deadlines.

Everything was fine but it took a lot longer than it should and because the project took so long we were unable to have a final walk through due to the fact that it was completed when it was dark out.

Dave and his crew were great. He answered all my questions and did everything that I requested.

They did a great job on my front and back yards. The trees were cut up and mulched and the yards were cleaned up. He also found 3 kittens and alerted me ,he saved 3 little kitten which were adopted late that same day.His crew was efficient and prompt. YES I would use them again and reccommend them to others.

After getting several estimates and speaking with a number of tree care specialists, I chose David James and Sherman Oaks Landscaping for two main reasons. First and foremost, his overall knowledge and experience gave me the sense that I would be in good hands. David James and his team not only handled my tree removal/tree trimming/stump grinding needs, but also was able to handle a long needed project requiring running new sprinkler lines under a driveway and sidewalk, installing new sprinlers and replacing faulty sprinkler valves. All done in one day at a very reasonable price! All new systems worked perfectly and his crew left the worksite spotless. David is easy to deal with and very professional in his approach to the task. I had a Sunday morning giant tree branch emergency -- it fell across a neighbor's driveway, trapping them in their house! David took the call and the job at a painfully early hour, got out there quickly, had the situation under control, completed the job, and charged me a very fair price. I hired him to return for more work, and couldn't be more pleased. He is easy to contact and at my request emailed me estimates and a bill. Great work!
