A very thorough inspection of the house lasting about 2 hours was done before the estimate of $4475 was given. This inspection took much longer than the other painter estimates so I thought this painter knew very well what the job would take. As the painting progressed many "unforeseen conditions" were uncovered so the final cost was $6505 which was higher than the other estimates. Overall, a good job was done but I don't know what another painter would have done with the "unforeseen conditions".
