Bob the owner seemed very nice and reliable at first. Sprayed the weed killer on October 3. After dozens of phone calls, of which most went unanswered, the job was finally completed almost three months later on December 23rd. We had no grass for Halloween and Thanksgiving. When he finally did show up, he tried to get away with not rototilling or putting in the compost. When I called him on it, he brought over a few bags of compost (NOT 3 yards!) and lightly tilled it in. He had the sod delivered late in the day and it sat in the street overnight instead of going in immediately. 2 weeks later, several strips of sod died. He also took all remaining sod and scraps with him even though I had paid for it. I made him bring 10 strips back. After all this he had the nerve to bill me for the remaining $170.
