 + -1 moreWe dropped this company as our managers and had great difficulty getting back control of our operating accounts. We had to threaten litigation to get it back.
Description of Work: Do not use this company. Their accounting practices is highly incompetent. The turnover rate of their bookkeepers and staff is very high, so no one there knows what is going on. They kept getting our HOA confused with other similarly named HOA's. They moved our money into bank accounts without our authority.

 + -1 moreL B Management purchased the management company chosen by the Homeowners' Association. It was immediately clear our complex was not one they really wanted to continue representing. The first manager assigned to work with us had never done property management before. While he was enthusiastic, he provided us with incompetent contractors and was hard to reach for follow-up. He was gone within a few months. The next manager was more experienced but continued to provide only spotty service. When we fired L B Management and hired a new company, it was very difficult to get our records back from L B. Because preventative maintenance was not properly done during the time we were with L B, we have spent a great deal of time and money making repairs that might have been less necessary had we been able to get ahead of the work earlier.
Description of Work: L B managed our townhouse complex in Pasadena for approximately one year. They handled financial services (i.e., paying bills, collecting dues and preparing monthly statements) and helped obtain bids for work throughout the complex as needed.
