We just wrapped up a project with Green Renovation Group and we are happy with their work. Our general contractor, David Cohen, and his team, including Juanita and Joseph, were always responsive to our needs, were quick to answer questions, and efficiently navigated each phase of our project. They even completed the project under the scoped timeframe. We commissioned Green Renovation to add a master bathroom and walk-in closet to our four-bed, one-bath house. We explained to David what we had in mind and he and his team made it a reality. Our master bedroom was a large mid-1970s addition to our 1953 Lakewood home. We had the team demo our old closets, which ran the length of one wall, and then build a new wall about three feet out from the old closets, creating a 5â x8â master bathroom and 5â x7â walk-in closet. David is meticulously detail-oriented, trustworthy, and an incredibly hard worker. Joseph, who managed the job when David was away, was equally meticulous and kept his subcontractors in line, always following up on work and making the appropriate calls when anything needed adjustment. Admin Juanita was always quick to return calls and text messages and made the experience smooth, organized, and enjoyable. I highly recommend Green Renovation Group.

Adequate. That is how I would describe the workers Green Renovation Group hired to do the remodel of our home. Reactive is how I would describe the employees of Green Renovation Group. They did not have a plan for how things should be done to enable other jobs to progress but had crews make repeated corrections so that the next step could be started. Green Renovation is a scheduling house for the crews and we had to provide the information of the work to be done to the crews that arrived at our house. The Project manager and owner of Green Renovation Group does not hold his own contractors license. The holder of their license also holds the licenses of several other companies. The project managers need to rely on their subcontractors to know building codes (as they do not) and the person who does know the codes well enough to pass the certification test, never saw the project. Highlights of issues: Master Bathroom: Wall vanity was not installed square and after adjustments still rubs the wall hard enough to remove paint. Slider door rubbed a groove in the wall above the door. *owner repaired Kitchen : New beam installed to replace a load bearing wall was cut off and the old beam that extended out of the back of the house was left attached to only the roof. New kitchen vent was installed to vent into the opening between beams of the ceiling and not to the outside. *Owner had to climb up on the roof to verify the wrong installation of the vent. This was corrected, but the ceiling is rippled and dented surrounding the new vent. Gap between the kitchen beam and the ceiling has cracks, ripples and bumps. *Owner to repair as work crews are not trusted to not damage counters Flooring: Brand new (click vinyl) flooring has gaps in multiple rooms and big ones in the hallway. After 3 attempts to fix the hallway gaps, we were told this is as good as it gets. Squeaks, which we were told would be corrected were not. Baseboards/trim was left incomplete. The project managers did not check the quality of the work performed. The owners had to climb on the roof to see that one vent cap was missed and only then did Green renovation send someone to repair it. Adequate and disappointed sum up our interactions with Green Renovation Group.

I highly recommend this company if your looking to get some good quality work in your home I love how my kitchen turn out not only did the finish look amazing but the whole process was so easy as David work with me with my ideas and made them a reality also the guys where always coming at time of schedule I never had an issue this all made the remodeling so much smooth then I thought it would be . Peter and the rest of the team at green renovation group did a stunning job for us a few months ago in our previous home that we just sold . Now they are working on our new home that we purchased and still in the progress of the remodeling - these guys working in such a professional way ! They are very hardworking - showing up on time every morning and never late also when we hire them we were worried about communication ( had bad experience before with other contractors) The communication is always open and they very involved during the entire process . Any possible changes or delays were relayed immediately and always with solution and great ideas from their in house designer that made our live so much easier . I ll definitely keep you updated at when the project is completed , we are very excited !!!!!

Contractor never on time. Lost keys twice to property. Plumbers inexperienced that worked with. Had to redo plumbing. Leaked into units below from the bathrooms. Contractor never on site except to ask for money. Hardwoods did not pass sound test. Painting has to be redone throughout the whole unit. Contractor only concerned about money.

I employed Green Remodeling Feb 25th with completion Apr 1. As of completion date, 2 of the 3 bathrooms were demo'd and I had no shower. I was still waiting for completion on May 25th. My electric was incorrect and my A/c and dishwasher did not work.

Let me start out by saying that the overall quality was pretty good. My main issue was the lack of communication with their workers and the boss. Also, a 2-3 week job took 5-6 weeks. In the end, I still have to hire a handyman to install a shower rod. They tried to up sell a shower door, which we didn't want. They are also very pushy.
