Excellent. Best experience I have had with a contractor

We always use them anytime we need anything.  They are great.  They did some work on our patio.  They are always prompt.  They come here and we trust them.  They always do a good job and there is never ever any problems.

We have lived in our Studio City house for 20 years, and during that time we have done many home improvement jobs ranging from the major to the minor.  Of all of the trades people we have worked with, Zevi and his crew at Crown Remodeling rank at the very top.  The job was to re-seal wood siding.  The original contractor had slapped on a coat of the wrong product using a roller, which left exposed sections of unfinished wood.  We had let the re-sealing job go undone too long, and the condition of the originally expensive siding had deteriorated.  In addition, our house is built into a hillside such that the front of the house is three stories up from the ground, so access isn't easy.

I appreciated receiving a formal, professional estimate and account statements after each payment:  sometimes people don't want to bother with that.  To me, it communicates a certain level of professionalism, and ensures that everyone is in agreement.  Once the work started, the crew (Steve and Elmer) were friendly, careful, professional and neat.  Over the course of the two-week job, Zevi came by every day, and he and his crew would discuss the challenges of the job, how best to do certain aspects of it, what products would help restore the original condition of the wood.  They paid close attention to the quality of the work at every stage, where so many other people we have worked with just wanted to finish the job to minimum standards and move on.  As a result, our house is now beautiful again. They stuck to the budget and the schedule, and cleaned up each night.  At the end of the job, they even washed the windows and carefully replaced screens, mats and fixtures that had been moved during the course of the work.

We think Zevi and his crew are gems, and we have every intention of using them again when we need work done on the house.

Everything went exactly as planned. We wanted all the work completed by Mother's Day and that was accomplished. We very much appreciated how neat the workers were and how professional everyone was. We are planning on having our master bath redone and will diffently use Crown Remodeling.

Overall, I was extremely impressed with Crown Remodeling. I found this company from the Yellow Book. I called out 3 companies and they had a very competitive bid and I felt the most comfortable with them. The free estimate was emailed to me in a timely manner and it described in detail the scope of the work and was easy to read and understand. When Crown Remodeling came out to bid my job, the contractor was extremely warm, straightforward and answered all of my questions and concerns from the beginning. The job was professional, they were always easy to reach by phone, they were always on time, they were reliable, extremely patient with me when choosing paint and always willing to work with changes. If I had a question, I was ALWAYS able to reach this contractor by phone or email and the response time was immediate....that was a nice change from other contractors I have dealt with in the past. But best of all, they finished the job when they said they would finish. They were licensed, insured, bonded, with worker's comp certificates and they were able to provide copies of the documents for me. I give this company an A+.
