Well, I can't write out every transaction in detail, lol, but I'll give an amalgamated sample: I call Charles and say, and quot;Charles, what do you think of South Pasadena as a place to buy a house?and quot; He will tell me off the top of his head what he knows about the area - great schools, small-town feel, the city hall is very picky about how/when you cut your oak trees. And then he'll add that the lemon bars at the bakery on the corner of x and y are awesome. How does he know all this stuff? (Go ahead, call him and ask about a random area - Atwater! Valley Village! Lincoln Heights! Valley Glen! I bet he can rattle off info about the area without googling.)
Usually within the hour he will have a set of listings for the area in our price range emailed, with comments and suggestions. When attending an open house, he might worry that the kitchen isn't a good size for us, or that the street in front of the house is too busy; in short, he sees the world from your POV so he can get you the right place to call home. Plus, he's fun and friendly at no extra charge:)
