They diagnosed the problem as a problem with a leaky pump. They took out the pump, took it apart and told me that I could either have it rebuilt with new bearings which were no longer good or put in a new motor.  They gave me the difference in the two prices and did not at all push me to go for the somewhat more expensive alternative of a new pump but said it would be more efficient and quieter.  I went for the new pump and the system is definitely working much better-quieter and the pool sweep is working much more easily than before.  They were here 3 or 4 times and checked to see if all was running properly.

Apollo Pool Service built the pool 20 years ago and I have been using them ever since. With one phone call they will come and do everything. They have knowledgeable people and they know what they are talking about. They are very quick to respond and reliable.
