Called Tiempo first and got a ballpark (15-20) on the cost. Brought the watch in the same day and had the links removed. While I was waiting the owner told me to help myself to a cup of hot cider. The cost ended up being $16.00. The owner was very pleasant and even went over some of the features of the watch which she thought I might not be familiar with. She is very community minded as I found out she recycles watches to give to the homeless.

I went to Tiempo when my treasured Hamilton watch fogged up. They immediately diagnosed the problem, and were able to fix it while I waited. They changed the battery and the seals, and the watch was as good as new! (In my experience, most watch repair places keep the timepiece for a couple of weeks, even to replace the battery!) While the repair was taking place, the shop owner took the time to show me her collection of Hamilton watches, and ended up selling me a Swiss Army pocket watch for my husband. The whole experience was very pleasant and efficient.

Pleasant and efficient. Gave me a $2 discount because she had not been open the previous day due to a family emergency (small shop owner run).
