Job went very well. Punctual and professional.

I had previously purchased a Casablanca ceiling fan with a light. We wanted that particular unit to be connected and controlled by a light switch in the family room. The worker was not prepared to install that type of fan. I had to return the fan and purchase an alternate fan with a remote control device. The worker sent by the Spyrka Electric was hardworking, friendly and conscientious. The worker would not take a break until the work was completed.

I'm so happy we decided to work with Spyrka! We just bought a home in Kentfield built in the 50s with an old kitchen that we ripped out to replace with a mini bar that we wanted overhead lighting and a new circuit for 2 new appliances. We found Spyrka on yelp and angle's list, and were LUCKY enough to have Ryan visit us on the day of the scheduled work (after getting an estimate).  Ryan  arrived on time, was extremely friendly and personable, and worked tirelessly for over 8 hours to finish the big job same day. I have had many different experiences with contractors and electricians and was shocked at how hard he worked to make sure he finished the complete scope of work that same day!!   
What's more, Ryan had the best attitude we have encountered as of late! He was able to circumvent many obstacles given our tiny space, made it all happen the way we had asked and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with his work. Ryan truly cared and showed a great deal pride in his work, again, we benefited from this because the lights and work he did for us look beautiful. We truly could not have asked for more!

Spyrka Electric offered a competitive estimate for a lot of electrical system improvements to my Eichler home. The price was neither the lowest nor the highest, but when he came to estimate the job, Scott's thoroughness showed me how the job would go. This team is top notch, honest, extremely knowledgeable and incredibly diligent. The scheduling and follow-through are better than any other sub-contractor that I have worked with. If you care about details and are ready to discuss them, or you want a trustworthy and expert job, I would highly recommend Spyrka Electric.

The work done was very professional, neat.
The only issue I had is when I got the quote on the price the 10% Angie discount was not listed.  There was some work that was done by the hour.  When I sent in my payment, I deducted the 10% for the hourly rate portion.  The owner accepted this payment from me.  I questioned the owner about the quote price and he said the 10% was already taken out before the quote was given.  I don't really think that was true.
So I feel like I got ripped off for 10% of my charge.  There was no way for me to prove this so I paid the requested amount.  So I feel like I got ripped off for about $60-$70, which was the 10% of the $680 I paid him for the quoted proposal.

It's a good thing that Aaron is professional and friendly, as he virtually lived here for several days over several weeks.

This was the 4th company I had gotten a bid from via Angie's list, and the only one who matched my needs, did not bloat the bid with unnecessary and unwanted services, and was detailed as to what they could do when.  Furthermore, there were several areas that I misunderstood, and Scott took the time to explain in detail what my options were.  I was treated with respect by everyone, at every turn.

He did phenomenal work.  He was very efficient.  He thought of things that I didn’t think of such as installing an extra switch an attic fan.  His pricing was good and he was a nice guy.

It went very well and was done quickly without any issues. The initially planned project was more extensive and turned out more costly. Scott discussed options with me to reduce costs and redesign the project.

I had the power trip in one section of my house.  The sconces in the bedroom seemed to have caused the problem. I also wanted some advice about our sump pump as well as an electrical box in the attic that our handyman thought had melted and a safety check.  They came on time, answered any and all questions, did a thorough safety check, were very polite, made money saving suggestions, and left my home clean.  I felt very good about the service and would call them again for sure.
