Surfaces' owner, Jim Davi, arrived with one of his Journeyman painters.  He was very professional, produced his C-33 painter's license to confirm his knowledge and experience, and then he took his time to carefully assess and discuss the project with the property manager and tenants.  This project first required cleaning up after previous painters.  The PREVIOUS painters had just left furniture uncovered, gotten paint on a chair, rolled paint unevenly on the walls, left wall paint roller marks on the ceiling, left paint drops dried off various edges, left paint on window casings and, worst of all, they had not properly taped down paper floor coverings, so the paint bled onto recently refinished hardwood floors.  SURFACES crew took care of all these issues. They immediately covered all furniture, used real tarps, fixed nail-pops, put a fresh, even coat of paint on all walls, removed dried drops, carefully "cut in" paint where needed (an important learned skill), matched ceiling paint to cover roller marks, cleaned and re-caulked window jams, they successfully removed paint dried on hardwood floors and then caulked the baseboards to make everything clean and flush against the floor.  And they cleaned up!  They did not need dehumidifiers and driers, they brought  KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and EXPERIENCE. They will cost more than your average painter, but for that extra you are guaranteed an honest, professional paint job completed by experts in their field.
