DO NOT use this service if you love your dog that has a medical condition.
Peace of Mind walkers either do not read the messages or ignores the messages in their system. On one occasion we put that our diabetic dog had to have his medication and be feed by 1900. Tiffany did not show up to the house until around 1930. With his diabetes he has to be on a strict schedule with his meds and his food (he gets his blood tested twice a day to make sure he is fine). Lucky for us our event ended early and found out he had not had his medication when we arrived. She was going to start their walk and then give his medication and food. We let her walk the boys instead of what we had asked/hired them to do after medicating and feeding him.
On another occasion we put in their system that the dogs were to get no food to include treats because my diabetic dog was being fasted for a test. The walker ignored this and gave him food. We found this out when we read the notes section and called them about this. They had no excuse and we ended up having to scramble to make sure he could still have his blood work from a vet that comes down from Santa Cruz once a week.
I would truly caution anyone that has a pet that they love that has medical conditions on the use of this service.

years. I trust them to give our dog the special attention she deserves,
observe our guidelines and dole out meds as required.
When we returned after each trip, our dog was happy and healthy and all instructions
were followed to a tee. It is very comforting to leave any pet, and
especially an aging or special needs pet, in such good care.
We also received daily updates via FaceBook and a long hand written note upon our arrival home.
We lost our beloved dog in August, but will be using Peace of Mind when our new baby is old enough for us to leave at home!!
