MC garage was great. We called in the late afternoon and Mathew came out that night. He assessed the issue, told me that the cable was fine. The issue was the sprint breakng due to bad rollers and drums. He showed me the differences between the bad rollers and ones on the other garage door, they were clearly worn. He said it would be two hours to repair. 2 hours and 5 minutes later he was done. This included greasing the garage he repaired, checking the opener adjustments and taking the time to do it on the other door too. He was personable, professional, clean and the garages are closing much smoother than i had ever seen them. I highly recommend.

MC garage did a fantastic job. Very quick to respond and the workmanship was excellent. It was a pleasure doing business with people where a hand shake still means something. They did everything they said they would.

The boy,  son of the owner of  MC Garage Door came to repair my door on January 16, 2016. I was charged $1159 for part of labor for new springs, rollers, drums and opener brackets that were installed in less than an hour. I felt like I was over charged so I called around to see how much other company´s would charge for the same parts and labor. They were all quoted around $600 or less. . Since then I barely used my garage because it was our storage during our bathroom and kitchen remodel. I cleaned out the garage this past weekend to start parking my car again, but when I tried closing the door  on Monday April 25, , the door bent on the top, one of the door´s windows shattered, and it would not close completely. My ex husband who was bringing my daughter home and the time examined the door and noticed that there were screws missing where the bracket had been installed. I called MC Garage to ask them to fix the problem  and the owner asked me how much I had been charged (why should that matter?) and   what had been done.  He reluctantly sent his son out when I mentioned that  the contract says "We provide a one year warranty for the work performed on this contract." His son  said that the problem had been caused by 1) screws that  according to the boy  had   "popped out" ( but we did not find any screws) and 2)  the force being set at the highest level. He said the setting in the  motor was not his fault either because he did not touch the motor when he fixed the door in January.  He should have checked the settings after changing major parts in the door to make sure the door was safe.  Somebody could have been seriously injured.. The boy installed three new screws and adjusted the settings. He left the  door bent   and with  a  broken window which MC Garage Doors is  refusing to fix or replace.

The garage door wouldn't close Friday evening!  Called the person who fixed the garage door before and he was out of town.  Looked on Angie's List. Reviewed the list and called MC Garage Doors.  Matthew came out right away.   He assessed the issues, gave a verbal estimate and explained what he was doing all along the way!  Very personal, professional with great expertise.    We would definitely use him again.   Thank you Matthew!   The garage door works quietly and with ease now!   Very happy with the outcome!   Plus, written one year guarantee for his work!

I called three other garage door companies on Sunday morning that claimed they handled 24/7 emergencies, but MC Garage Doors was the only one that had the integrity to call within an hour.  Matthew and his assistant showed up on time and thoroughly inspected all the issues with my garage door.  They were very honest and carefully explained the problems.  They did a great job and now my garage door operates wonderfully.  They even returned later in the day with a part that they didn't have and installed it.  I was very impressed with their professionalism and how clean they kept the garage after their work.  I would highly recommend their services and will use them again for any other issues with my garage door.

I got up to go to work and discovered that my garage door
was stuck. The first company I called could not send anyone the same day so I
tried MC.  After several calls, they agreed to come out and fix the door.
On the phone they guessed it was a broken spring and I was quoted $300 for new
springs and $80 for a service charge. When the repair guy arrived he said that
I really needed new rollers and cables and the new price was over $700. The
repair suddenly went from $380 to $725. I was in dire need to get the door
repaired as I needed to get to work so I agreed but I feel like I was ripped
off. The repair was done promptly and the work seems good but I'm unhappy with
the price especially as I was in no position to wait for a different company to
rescue me.

Our garage door broke (broken spring) on a Sunday afternoon with the car trapped inside.  MC Garage doors was one of the very few providers open on a Sunday.  They were happy to drive right over and arrived about 1-2 hr after we contacted them.  Matt Jr. was courteous, professional, clean-cut, and friendly.  He did a quick and great job replacing the spring, drums, cables, and rollers.  Price seemed reasonable although large in the grand scheme of things.  Door works better (quieter and smoother) than I ever remember it being.  Their willingness to come out on a Sunday was tremendously convenient.  Would definitely consider using them again for tune-ups or major repairs.

The process went great. I normally don't do reviews but i was so happy with the work and the professionalism of MC Garage that i had to write this review. I had contacted another Angie list provider and they were going to charge me double the amount MC had charge me for the same work. On September the 9th I called the other place (they were the company that had installed the garage door opener) they came out and charged me a $49 sevice fee than told me that itwould cost me $511 to fix springs on garage door.I decided that their price was ridiculous. I called MC the same day and he came out and fixed my springs for $265. Also he notice that my right roller needed to be replaced. He replaced roller at no charge to me. It's very rare to find a person (company)with so much integrity. I will always call this company with any garage door needs.

By arriving on time, on a Sunday night, MC Garage Doors turned what would have been a really inconvenient situation around.
We weren't expecting to have to shell out $800 on our garage doors on a Sunday night  -- but they were just a disaster waiting to happen.
While cleaning out our garage we accidentally left a ladder leaning against one of the rails and forgot about it. Later, we tried to open the door, and the door hit the ladder and jammed. It wouldn't close or open again, and made scary loud rattling noises. We called MC garage doors at 5pm on Sunday, and they arrived on time at 8:45pm.  Our door was rattling and old, and many of the hinges were weak.
We had originally just wanted to replace the wire on the spools, which had come unwound but the technician looked at our springs and our rollers and said that they were very worn and should also be replaced in case they break. He quoted us $800 for this. We agreed, since the door had always been very creaky and rattly.
In an hour, he had replaced the springs and the rollers. We drew his attention to a few hinges that seemed broken.  He replaced them with new ones (but not exactly the same part) but when we tried to open and close the door with the new hinges, it did not lower and raise smoothly, so he put the original hinges back.

We called the provider after our garage door spring broke, trapping our cars inside our garage.  They were able to come the same day, which happened to be a Sunday.  They were prompt, professional, & got the job done relatively quickly.  Would definitely recommend this provider!

Matthew arrived on time as promised.  He quickly determined the problem and quoted a repair price.  He also indicated that my rollers were very old and likely would need to be replaced within the next 12 months.  He did not pressure me to get them fixed during the visit but merely called my attention to the issue.  I did, however, decide to get the rollers fixed as well.  He was able to make all repairs within 1/2 hour and worked efficiently and thourghly.  We tested the door before he left and everything was good.  I really liked the fact that they were 24 hour service and would not have waited two days to get fixed had I been aware of that fact prior to calling.  I would highly recomment them again.

We looked into and got several quotes to have our doors replaced.  They came when promised for both the quote and installation, spent the necessary time to provide a breakdown of the charges and though they were not the cheapest solution, we were impressed with the overall presentation.  In particular, one of their assemblers (Matt) explained some of the options and based on our input gave us a solution which we were happy with.

Left a message for MC Garage Doors at 7pm on a Saturday night when my garage door decided to stop closing.  One the cables had snapped.  Got a return phone call from Matt about 30 minutes later and was given an estimate and was told they could have someone over to repair it by 9pm.
Raymond showed up a little after 8pm and was great to work with.  Fantastic service and did the repairs along with some additional "tune-ups" that my garage needed (lube and tightening of bolts).  He also recommended changing out the worn out rollers, so he did that as well.  Raymond was great in providing recommendations for maintenance that I could perform on my own every 6 months to make sure the garage door was in working condition.  He also recommended that the garage door be rehung since the header in the garage was about 1/2" behind the garage door itself.
Overall, great service and great experience and I would not hesitate recommending MC Garage Doors for your repair needs.

Sun.  evening at 7 P.M. my wife and I prepared to go out for dinner. Went into garage and pressed the opener button. Wouldn't budge. After some struggle I looked up and saw that one of the two main springs had broken. Borrowed neighbor's car and went out to eat. Returned and got on Angie's List. Called one highly rated company that advertised 24/7 service. No response. At 10 PM I called MC who immediately picked up. Made an appointment for Mon. morning between 8 and 9 AM.  Matt showed up at 8:30 AM, explained the problem and went right to work. In about one hour the garage door was working better than it had in years.

Matthew diagnosed over the phone and said he would be here by 3:30 pm on a Sat. (same day I called). He was on-time. DId a tune-up, got the sensors working and suggested replacing all the rollers and why that should be done. The garage door is working great and is much quieter. He cleaned up everything. The rubber at the bottom of the garage door was also torn & bad. He asked if I would like assistance with that. He'll return on on Monday with the parts to complete that portion of the repair as it wasn't discussed in our original conversation. He did bring his family along as there were on their way to an event. Very well-behaved children. Would definitely recommend him.

Matt was very professional and what I truly appreciated was the fact that he only recommended the relevant repairs and did not try to upsell other stuff. He did the job in a reasonable amount of time and was very knowledgeable about his area of expertise. It was a pleasure having Matt help me resolve my garage door issue. I would not hesitate to call him again for help.

Matt was able to stop by my house even though he was planning on traveling out of town for the holiday that night. He diagnosed the probelm over the phone (worn out gears) and had the parts on hand to repair the unit. He gave me a reasonable quote as well. Once he arrived at examined my doors, he also suggested replacing my pulleys/rotors on the door as they were old, which while I wasn't excited about, approved anyway - he advised that these would wear down and would need to be replaced very soon anyway. Bottom line, the garage door opener works better than ever, and I am worry free for a few years now. Matt was extremely professional and curteous, and i would use him again in a hearbeat. Good guy - he knows he stuff...

They were best able to meet our needs. We were convinced they had the skills. I would definitely not recommend them. The guy who owned the company had his father-in-law working with him. The reason we went with them was because the father-in-law was on his way to becoming a general contractor so he was going to do the framing. The father-in-law was great. Without him the job would have turned into a complete disaster. The guy who owned the company was absolutely terrible. He was unprofessional. He brought his kid with him. They showed up late and he worked until 11 o'clock. We had to ask them to finally stop and come back the next day. The job itself turned out fine. He did work, but I attribute 95 percent of that to his father-in-law who I don't think is officially a part of the company, or maybe he is. I don't know. The price was fine and the quality was fine.
