They are excellent! I would only trust them with taking care of my Steinway. They do an excellent job, are very careful, punctual, and so pleasant to be around. (I have had other tuners who are so temperamental and grumpy) They also have moved my piano and stored it for me too. You will be so happy to have them take care of your piano.

I couldn't have asked for a better piano mover. This is a very big and heavy piano. A 3 man crew disassembled it, wrapped it up, and brought it to our home. They brought it up 2 steps using their special dolly, unwrapped and reassembled the piano. They worked as a team, very professional....make it look effortless, despite the size and weight. I scheduled with Bob, who promptly returned my voicemails, gave the best quote, and provided the earliest delivery day. Paid by CC over the phone after piano delivery and scheduled full service piano tuning, voicing, etc. for next month. Looking forward to have them come back!

Everything was excellent. I was sad to have to give the work to someone else. Per company policy I had to re-bid my work and another contractor came in under what Burton and Wilson was doing it for. I was very, very sad to lose them as a vendor and have not been as pleased with the new company's work. I would take Burton and Wilson back in a heartbeat. They were always on-time and did an excellent job with the pianos. In addition, if there were any problems with the pianos they would give me a call with a quick estimate to make additional repairs not covered in the contracted tuning price, and would usually have all the repairs done the same day (unless they were waiting on parts).
I have to throw a disclaimer out on my price. This was a contracted price they offered for tuning a total of nearly 100 pianos for us. We provided a lot of business and were given an excellent price as a result. I would doubt they would offer that good of a price for a single piano tuning.
Service was provided in multiple locations across the East Bay Area (Walnut Creek, Concord, Richmond, El Sobrante, Danville, Pleasanton, San Ramon, Livermore, Dublin, Hayward, Union City, etc.)

We have them come out once a year to provide yearly piano maintenance. Includes: tuning, action service, dust/clean/polish the case and polish pedals and locks. They also gave a current appraisal. We've used them for many years and have always been happy with their service.

These people, Britain Wilson and Bob Berg, were on time, neatly dressed, courteous and friendly. They tuned my piano, first with a machine and then by ear, cleaned and vacuumed inside, cleaned the keys, washed and polished the piano. When they were finished they gave me information, as when my piano was manufactured, what I could claim if my piano were destroyed, what I could sell it for and what the price would be if I were to buy it now. They made an appointment for the next tuning. My piano looks and sounds as if it were brand new.

I have had members of this company tune my piano twice in the past couple of years. Both times their professional attitude and experience have been exceptional. They were on time and took the time to do it right.
