Burkell Plumbing & Heating

This company is from management to secretary to tech a bunch of rip off artists. They charged my HOA almost $900 to replace a 1 1/2 inch union on the hot water tank they replaced less than 2 years ago. Of course they only gave a 1 year guarantee on their work When I questioned their bill I got the run around and still do not have an explanation of the work they performed that adds up to the bill. The best is that their repair leaked shortly after they left from their "repair" causing a flood in place of the original drip. When I finally got the owner on the phone he was a bully, took a fit like a child and hung up the phone. I am filing a BBB claim and will keep you informed. I would not let these people turn on my garden hose on. Please BEWARE

They were quick and efficient.

The men arrived on time. They laid clothes and card board thru the house to the crawl space opening. Worked efficiently and without incident. They explained in detail what they did and charged us a fair fee, we believe.

I have used them for many years. They are always available. They are knowledgeable. Their staffs are very good. I have been happy with their pricing. They are prompt.

I would not use Burkell Plumbing and Heating again. He was good, but, he was so rude I would not use him again. There was nothing that I liked about them. I would not use them again.

I called Burkell plumbing Thursday afternoon, and they were able to send one of their people out the next morning.
The job was extra challenging for me because I could not be present at the house.  The technician was able to describe the problem over the phone, and I agreed that a new hot water heater should be installed.
He gave me a good,  fair estimate, and to my surprise, was able to install the new system in one day [same-day]!
Later, I was able to visit the house and inspect the installation and workmanship.  It was superior to the original installation, and also was a better quality unit for about the same price I'd paid years ago.  So I feel like I got more than my money's worth.
Their personnel was on time, friendly, professional, the communication was clear and precise.  I got good information and good advice, and this was overall a great experience.
Clean up after the job was excellent.  It was as if they had not been there, except I had a new tank less water heater. I will definitely be using them for all my future plumbing, and I would recommend them to friends and family without hesitation.I wish all companies were like this.

I have preventative cleanout done once every year, and this is my first experience with this company for this service.
The plumber arrived on time, was friendly and helpful, but didn't need any supervision or babysitting, and went right to work getting the job done quickly.
The sewer cleanout went smoothly, and to my surprise, was considerably LESS EXPENSIVE than the previous "rooter" company I had used, and they did a better job too!
Clean up after the job was better than any plumbing company I've encountered. It was as if they had not been there, except I had a  properly working sewer line.
Although they had some recommendations, such as a video camera inspection for the sewer line, there was absolutely no hard sell, and the plumbing technician gave me several pointers and helpful information for the future.
After dealing with other companies, this was really refreshing and positive.I'll be using them again with confidence.

If any faults, too popular/busy-come rushing from other jobs sometimes a little late(1/2hr),but worth wait,because work fast,(1 day), goimmediately to next job; competent (one small fix forgot, came back next day when called),\; quality prod(except 1 small part failed 1st week-came monday after left weekend message-replaced part which"had notice might fail" from mfr (trane/am.std.),had part in truck.Furnace price normal, not low or high.Not charged for return visits(in warranty); friendly; earn their a's from angies and bbb--also like that are local (fast response) and family run and established (in community since '40s)--outweighs disadvantage of not being chain corp. available 24/7 i guess.

They worked very hard and gave me lot of good tips. I once called them back to fix some things that they had repaired before and they did not charge me for doing it again. I have been satisfied with their service.

I was very satisfied with his timeliness in completion, attention to his work, and cleaning up the job site. I feel the labor was a tad high. However, I realize with me buying the garbage disposal this takes away from their material sales. I would definitely rehire due to their knowledge and experience in the plumbing industry.
