We hired Daniel to fix a leak in our roof. He did not come at his scheduled times on every occasion we booked. After multiple no shows, he arrived late. no regard for our time and the fact we took off work to be available during his scheduled time. The next time it rained, the roof continued to leak, the problem was not fixed. We reached out and he sent his son to try and complete the job he was hired for. Next rain, it was still leaking. We reached out again, he said he didn’t know why it was leaking and asked for an additional nearly $3000 dollars to try and fix it. This guy has no idea what he is doing and doesn’t stand behind his work. Go anywhere else, I cannot recommend hiring him.

Steer clear of this company! Year later and the roof is still leaking and we're now headed to small claims court. We had a leak December 2021, Daniel came out and gave an estimate, then three weeks later (after several no shows) it was "fixed." Three months later (first rain since the repair) it was leaking again. An employee returned and resealed it and stated if the problem persisted call and they would come back out. November comes and it rained again and the roof continued to leak. Daniel came back out and said it would cost 2500 dollars to fix. I asked if the 500 would count as a credit and was told no because "the roof was fixed and the repair was only temporary and there's no warranty". Just because it's not raining doesn't mean the roof is fixed. I had many questions such as; who pays to get their roof temporarily fixed? What did I pay 500 dollars for? And if the job was never completed and the roof never fixed, how is it a warranty issue (that's not offered) Daniel (or his wife who's his secretary because Daniel refuses to talk to anyone himself) ignored our email when we asked for a refund seeing as how the services were never performed and he would not apply the 500 as a credit. The only time he responded was when we threatened him with legal action to which they responded "the job was completed (no it wasn't) and there's no warranty" This company has been a headache for the last year, please steer clear of them

Daniel was wonderful.  He eased our fears about our roof after we noticed a leak after the first rainstorm of the season.  Everyone is preparing for a big El Nino winter, and I couldn't get any other roofer to come by for two months or more.  Daniel came by after he was finished working for the day in the rain.  He found a slipped tile and knew it was about a half day job to fix.  We had an appointment 6 weeks out, but he was able to find the time to come earlier.  I am so relieved having the roof fixed.  There are two days rain is predicted during the next month.  I was thinking of having the whole roof underpinnings replaced next summer, but he said we had about 5 years until that would be necessary.  Daniel lives in our community, and knows all the various track builders. He told us our builder used a better paper and that is why we have more time before it needs to be replaced.  At the same time not all our tiles were nailed, so that is why we had one slip.  The slipping let the exposed paper disintegrate.  In my relief of having the roof fixed I do not remember everything he told me was done.  Masking and webbing along with new paper is some of what I now recall.  I highly recommend Daniel's Roofing.

After he walked the roof he saw what he thinks was the trouble area, he applied roofing mastic to that area . When I asked... what do I owe you for this repair, he replied $50.00. As a retired Building and Trades Supervisor I felt that small charge was exceptional in my favor and really just covered his gas to the site!

We had a leak in our house which we believed was due to the chimney flashing. Because it was raining at the time, it was very difficult to find someone to help us out. When we called Daniel, he was very prompt, and actually arrived less than 15 minutes after we called. He climbed onto the roof (in the rain!) and tied a tarp around the chimney to prevent further leaks. At this point, we thought we had found a winner. After the rain stopped, however, there was nothing but excuses. He was "out of town", or "sick", or some other reason prevented him from contacting us to provide a quote to fix the flashing. After three weeks of this (not only did he not come out, he was never even available by phone anymore), we went with another company.

I interviewed a lot of roofers. This company was incredibly professional and personable. The price was reasonable. I plan to update this report after the first rain -- after I see how the roof holds up. But over all, I'm very satisfied with their services. Update as of 4/11/11: It has rained like heck on and off for months and the roof is doing just great. I highly recommend Daniel Roofing.
Update: It has rained a lot this year and the one-year-old roof had no leaks and looks just great!

Very good experience. Daniel was friendly, came out right away to give us an estimate and did the job that same week. His employees cleaned up after themselves and did not leave a mess. We are very pleased with out new roof!
