"In response to Camille's review, I thought that it would be an opportune time to respond to it due to the fact that someone had brought it to my attention. On the day that we had met, we had discussed the type of work that could be done to the tree taking into consideration that the tree was declining in health. I had taken pictures and a video of the tree and the type of work which would be performed. Camille was correct in that I did not write something up. And maybe I should have. Several days later she decided to have the work done and I shared with her that we could tie it in with another job that was fairly close by. But the problem was not in regards to each of us (both Camille and I) understanding what needed to be done initially but rather, the fact that while we were trimming the tree, it had been discovered that there were some structural integrity issues that needed to be addressed which could pose a threat to the property. We tried getting a hold of Camille at work but decided to discuss the issue with Camille's mother, who lives there on the property, to make an immediate decision going forward. I had told Camille's mother that we would do the additional work at no extra charge. But that I thought that would be in her best interest to make a change as to what needed to be done. Camille's mother had agreed. This is where the disconnect came about. And of course when Camille got back the tree work was different than what was initially discussed. I had given Camille my sincerest apologies. She was very gracious in the way she responded to me. It was just an unfortunate sequence of events which turned the relationship sour.
