RV Sales & Service
We recently discovered that the owner Dan Rice pocketed our money and never paid the owners of the RV. Thus we never received title, and the CA DMV rejected the registration due to insufficient funds on Rice's check. In late January 2012, we saw an expose on local San Diego television. They reported that Rice RV was under investigation for fraud with numerous customers. Dan Rice let himself be interviewed, and admitted he had taken people's money but would try to reimburse everyone. At this time, we have hired an attorney to handle the matter, but it appears that Rice RV's bond is small and will never cover all the people he owes money. At this time, we have been unable to sell the RV since we have no title, and we are out a considerable amount of cash. The sellers no longer have their RV and never received their money.
Rice RV continues to do business every day. I would really hate to see any people victimized by this criminal.
