Excellent! Punctual, cleanliness of area when left each day, work was beautifully done, no chemical smell, worth the price. Going to do my other cabinets in house. He does his own work. Can’t possible believe negative posts from other person.

This man charged me 3k to tear apart my kitchen with some homeless kid he had hired. Re painted my cabinets and the quality was absoultly awful. Paint chipped up with in weeks. He did touch ups with a diffrent paint color. SPRAYED paint on our hardwood floors. Overall crap. Does not return calls. Does not stand behind his work. Law suit pending.

My husband and I were trying to figure out a way to help my mother update her older outdated kitchen. She was happy with the layout and her cabinets are a much better quality than what is a now available at most home improvement stores so we did not want to rip them all out as was suggested by one company. We got a few estimates for refacing, what a shock, these ranged as high as $9,500.00+ down to about $7,500. We got a few estimates for refinishing between $1800.00 and $3200.00.
After seeing a post on Craigslist we called CHIPS CABINET FINISHING CO. for a free consultation and estimate. The owner Cleet was quick to arrange an estimate and arrived as scheduled. He was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. He suggested that the kitchen cabinets would be good candidates for refinishing and quoted a price of $2900.00 not the lowest but we really felt good about having Cleet do the work. In addition to knowing his craft, he also assured us he did all the work himself and did not just bid the job and then send a crew out like another company said was their policy. Let me say hands down we could not be happier or more satisfied. My mothers cabinets were a boring, dated, natural oak cabinets that are now a beautiful chocolate/espresso brown color that look rich and luxurious. EVERYONE that has seen her new kitchen is so impressed with the difference. In addition Cleet put on all new hardware and made sure all of the glides worked well. He also put on new bumper pads. He was clean and efficient and even took his trash with him. She was only unable to use the majority of her kitchen for about 3 days but Cleet made sure she had access to the sink, fridge and microwave each evening so the inconvenience to her was minimal. He masked up and protected EVERYTHING and was a very clean and organized worker. He used eco-friendly products so the smell would not be to overwhelming for my elderly mother. He took all the doors to his shop and brought them back ready to hang the following week. It was amazing how smoothly it all went but I guess having been in business for over 20 years that he has a great system that works. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND CHIPS CABINET FINISHING CO and Cleet Williams to anyone wanting a quality kitchen refinish, done by an honest, old fashioned craftsman that deals with the home owner 1 on 1 and gives GREAT VALUE for the money spent.
