Within 5 minutes of seeing refrigerator the technician isolated the problem to two possible causes. He replaced part that he thought was the most seen corrective action. That corrected the zone cooling issue which was our primary concern. He advised us that once refrigerator started working correctly the ice maker would start making ice. The ice maker still not working correctly.

Went very well. Patel found the water shut-off valve that had been hidden during a kitchen remodel. The refrigerator valve needed to be replaced, the part was ordered and the repair was completed within 3 days from the initial inspection.

They want to charge $350 to fix the problem. Cost too much for what was wrong. I looked up the cost for the parts and it was way less then what they have quoted me for. For $450 I could get a new similar range. No thanks.

When you called to set up appointment you gave us wrong information as you are the owner and will pay for service, then you ask us to call your Landloard. We give our customer warranty for repair, as we proved only manufactory parts, which more expansive. We have more then 10,000 repeat customer, who trust our company."

The service was very prompt! The serviceman was on time and efficient. He looked for the least expensive probable solution and when that wasn’t it, he continued to find a solution. He needed to replace a thermostat or heating element. When he did the repair he also completely cleaned the compartment and cleaned up after the work. I was very satisfied with the work!

Great! Needed new fan motor on a Whirlpool fridge. A+ was on time, very professional (on the phone and in person), and diagnosed my problem in short order. The gentleman was able to straighten the hinges that I bent when I fell and landed on the door.He explained what he was doing,was here when he said,was courteous and proffesonal and only charged me the service charge.So refreshing to find REAL SERVICE in this day and age! When I called, was treated very nice and had an appointment in just a few days. My window was 4-6 and the doorbell rang at exactly 4. He quickly said my drain line must be clogged. An hour later it was all done and he cleaned everything up. With my coupon, it was only $100. Will definitely hire again.

My dryer quit heating on Jan 15 around 2. Since it was a Kenmore, I first called Sears Appliance Repair - I was told the soonest appointment would be January 30. NO THANK YOU! -- I called A+ and asked if I could have late afternoon - they told me no problem somebody would be at my house the following day between 4 and 6. At 4:00 the next day, repairman arrived and by 4:45 the problem was fixed. Not only did he fix the heating problem, but he took the time to make sure all the lint was cleaned up and everything looked better than when he started. Thank you A+

The tech wasn’t certified for ge cafe appliances and hadn’t seen this problem before. He suggested we unplug and repower the unit, and that worked. I felt dumb but it was worth the small service fee to have a professional advice.

Took less than a week for the part to arrive, so the job was done within the same week. Apparently, when the technician put the cover back on the washing machine, some wires were crimped or came loose. While the washing machine still ran, and he tested it before he left, we didn't realize there was a problem until we ran a complete cycle. After calling the next Monday, he returned right away to get things working again. Just a weird, once in a 1000 calls kind of thing. What's most important here is that A+ returned immediately upon learning that there was a problem and took care of it.

Technician Alex had to remove frozen water in the freezer drawer of the refrigerator. This involved taking out the back wall of the freezer unit to access the place that had a piece of the unit that had broken off and blocked the drain line.

First let me say, we contacted A+ Appliances directly on their website prior to writing this review to allow them to correct the situation. We have had no response. We are very disappointed in our experience with A+ Appliances on Saturday, September 16th. Erik arrived on time to diagnose the problem with our washing machine and gave us a quote of $250 for the part (a transmission) and $110 for the labor to install it. After Erik left, we were able to find the part for $175 (43% less). We spoke with Erik and said we didn't expect A+ Appliance to warranty the part if we purchased it, but we would like him to install it. He checked with his manager/supervisor and said the labor would go up to $150 and would not honor the $20 Angie's List coupon. We don't understand the increase in labor cost. It seems coincidental that the increase was the same $40 amount of the "free" service call which he collected at the time he came out. We requested to speak with the owner to clarify this issue and never received a return call from the owner. They state they are fully licensed yet there is no State License Number listed on their website, their repair estimate paperwork, nor on the BEARHFTI.ca.gov website which licenses them. We had another repair person come out and tell us he thought it might just be the Ultra Durable 285753A Motor Coupling that was $7.49 on Amazon. He came back last night and installed that part and now the washer works beautifully. We apparently didn't need the $250 transmission Erik said we needed. While it could have been an error on his part, with the way they handled our situation overall, we question the honesty and integrity of their business practices and requested a refund of our $40. To date, we have had no reply. To summarize: They charged $40 for an incorrect diagnoses, the part was quoted 43% higher, it was the wrong part, they increased the labor quote to install it by $40, they would not honor the $20 off Angie's List coupon (which specified no limitations or conditions for using it) and they did not respond to our request on their website. They state that "satisfaction is fully guaranteed." Well, I am not at all satisfied.


UPDATE


When a mistake is made, the integrity of a company is determined by how they handle that mistake. After 18 emails back and forth, sending them a copy of an invoice to confirm the correct part, the labor, and that the washer was now working properly, they finally stepped up and did the right thing. They refunded the service call fee.
