After choosing the carpet I was given a price. No plan was laid out, no estimate on carpet needed.There was an excessive amount of carpet left over. I requested a sample from the manufacturer before I accepted the carpet and Doug assured me he would request one. I gave him half the total in deposit. I did not receive a sample from the manufacturer, was told that the manufacturer did not send samples and the clerk said that the carpet was already in the warehouse. The carpet was installed on time. There seemed to be an unnecessary seam near the window where it shows. When I called to say that many of the seams showed badly, Doug said nothing could be done about it. Previously he had said that the carpet I chose would show seams less than one I was considering. The display sample said it was Stainmaster Xtra Life Carpet with a limited warranty on stain and soil. The carpet does't resist any soil or stain, always use Capture. Called and Doug said the carpet had no warranty.
