I came home to find a foot of debris covering the area that he had worked in.  I called him and asked him why he left all of the debris and he told me that wasn't part of the deal....they don't remove the sawdust.  Well it wasn't just sawdust, it was chunks of wood, roots, chips, sawdust.  I had to hire someone else to come and clean up the mess he left.  It cost me an additional $150.  What we found when the ground was finally uncovered was that not even half of the work had been done.  Part of the stump was still there and many, many, roots.  The person who is going to re-sod my front yard put little red flags every place he found a root and there were 15-20 flags.  These were not small roots, they were the main roots of the tree.  We called Trew and left messages.  He is not prompt about returning calls and we didn't hear from him until the next morning.  He said that after our guy removed the debris and if we felt he needed to come back he would.  We called him to tell him just how bad it was and again he never bothered to respond until this morning.  I had left him a voice mail and I told him that since we had to hire someone to come and clean up the mess he left us he had better haul off anything from redoing the grinding.  Well I came home on a late lunch to find the yard covered in debris again.  I called him and basically threatened him with reports to the contractor's license board and the BBB.  He called back and told me he was coming back which he did.  When I got home after work there was still a lot of debris on the ground.  Not to mention that he blew it all over our porch, under the garage door and into the garage and all over the driveway and flowerbeds. His price might be the lowest but in this case it definitely was the wrong way to go.
