We were very fortunate to purchase a lovely home in Oakmont with a beautiful view of Hood Mountain in 2012. By 2021 we needed to resolve a failing 1300 ft2 deck. We engaged the contracting services of Dave Bowman(Tanoak Construction) to replace and expand the panoramic deck. It was a pleasure to work with Dave on this very challenging project. We were dealing with the pandemic, an historic winter rain, mounting price for materials, and labor shortages. In addition to the deck, we decided to enlarge our dining room which required engineering of the tall vaulted roof line and moving walls. With the engineering and permit needs, we felt and his team had the disposition, skills, and experience to pull this off. Dave had our interests in mind when he purchased materials in a timely fashion thus saving us financially. His attention to detail and quality workmanship was evident throughout the project. We are extremely satisfied with the craftsmanship and service provided for our bathroom remodel.
