Petersen Dean did a great job: first they were thorough in helping me understand the quote; they made the case why this was good to do early in the year; they did the work professionally; they kept us updated on progress; they explained the finished product. The final inspection scheduling with the city resulted in two no shows by the city employee; they waited HOURS to get the project signed off. No complaining by the very patient PD employee!

After years of thinking I wanted to go solar, I got serious about doing so early this year. I decided to purchase panels that would allow me to use my home more fully without skimping on energy consumption.

They communicated very clearly on the requirements for the upgrade. After careful evaluation, they determined that the roof frame was strong enough to hold the plywood sheets without further re-enforcement. They were on-time and quick. I was pleased and would hire them again.

Removed old wood shake, and installed plywood sheeting (to bring up to current code) covered with new composite shingles.

Description of Work
Total re-roof on a very tough old house with lots of issues and multiple aged previous roof sections. What I appreciated most is their responsiveness and willingness to handle whatever issue arose quickly and thoroughly. We had a number of dormers that had to be stuccoed in coordination with the roof job and they were excellent about coordinating with the other contractor.

We started a project to install solar panels on our house. We met with the salesman, who was very professional, decided to go ahead, but then modified the number of panels. We experienced a two month wait for a new contract with the revised design, even though it was simpler -- involving just one roof surface -- and was part of the larger original design. In the interim we found a less expensive vendor and decided to go with them. It took another month for PetersenDean to refund our $1,000 deposit.

i would use petersen dean again for roof and solar work. one of their representatives drove me around to look at the various roof styles they offered, an unexpected service. they did some extra work in the attic, installing conduit for electrical, which was also something they did not have to do and did not charge any extra. they were here when they said they would be and worked a full day and then some. worked hard to keep things clean and neat. i would recommend petersen dean. we are happy with the roof and with the solar.

I got a quote for both the roofing and solar. The roofing quote was a bit high but the solar quote was very reasonable. I decided to go with Peterson and Dean for the solar and am happy with the work.

They are really good. We recently had a lot of rain, and even though the garage used to leak, it stayed bone dry, even a year later. It didn't even leak around the skylight.

Description of Work
Surveyed solar, installed, financed. I face southeast; ground mount to face south was an additional 6,000. They helped calculate how much power I lost by facing southeast vs what i saved by putting on roof over ground mount. I can buy more power than I lost by getting more panels.

They installed my system in a little over six hours. My main interest is about quality and purchasing (not leasing) and they exceeded my expectations |for quality. I chose to go with micro inverters, so the cost was a little higher.
