Lowes Electric

Rob Lowe, not the actor, but the owner of Lowes Electric, and his crew, arrived on time, did what they said they were going to do, and much more. They worked very hard, kept me informed at all times, did quality work, and moreover, worked smartly. For example, Rob and his crew would come up with solutions to problems and make things better instead of just replacing what was there or simply not caring. Great Job! I've never written a review before, but given the quality of work, goodwill, and professionalism exhibited by Rob and his crew, I felt the need to pass my experience on to others..

First off, this is hard to rate because the initial work Lowes did was incomplete and Lowes had to come again to finish the work. They came out again to finish the work and have the inspector sign off on the work. Inspector found a problem with the circuit breaker and instructed me to contact Lowes again to come out and look at the breaker and make any necessary repairs. I was told by Lowes that when he was in the area, he would stop by and look at the breaker. Despite our calls, Lowes never returned.
We had a serious problem with the breaker and luckily the house did not catch on fire because we were home and were able to turn off the main breaker. I tried numerous times to contact Lowes and have them come out on an urgent basis for this. Finally, his assistant came out to look at the damage that was done and I was told the owner would contact me to discuss this matter. Lowes finally called and the owner told me that it would cost between $2,000 and $2,500, if he could not find parts and would have to change everything over, and because I was a customer, he would give me a discount. I felt that we should not have to pay for this because I complained about the breaker from the initial installation and Lowes did not follow up on my complaint and I am very fortunate we were home when this happened.
Thus, I went with another electrical company (also from Angie's List) because they gave a reasonable price ($292) as opposed to the $2,000+ that Lowes wanted to charge and the second company completed the work promptly and efficiently.

He was so fast and efficient. Everything worked he was a very nice guy. He was very professional. He had a face plate that he gave me and he even did a little extra work. He was on time. He will call you if he is running a few minutes late. I was extremely impressed.
